Tony Parker over Kyrie? Really?
And I say that as a person who thinks that a ton of people underrate TP's importance to the Spurs.

Absolutely -- Parker is killing it this year, playing amazing ball, doesn't look a bit slower than he did 5 years ago, and is essentially the #1-2 best player on the best team in the league.

I'd choose Parker over Irving this season. Parker is the main reason the Spurs are playing so well.
Parker's stats are 20.6ppg, 7.6apg with a 24.06 PER, he's on fire.

So if I'm giving you the choice to take Kyrie Irving or Tony Parker with all things being equal (players around them, coaching, etc.) as your starting point guard, you guys would take Parker?
Give me Irving.

Right now, yes I would. Kyrie is still a REALLY s****y defender and an even lesser passer than Parker. I just think Parker is the more complete player right now.

I wouldn't say he's a lesser passer. I'd say he's a less willing passer, though.

Agreed. Kyrie can pass but he doesn't really have the good teammates to pass to.
