On to the next one.

I really liked our effort and offensive execution in the last game. I think we missed JJ, but the ball movement seemed to be better, and we got better shots, as opposed to the ball-stopping and the ISOs that tend to happen when JJ's out there.

I like our chances in this game, tbh. As opposed to the Rockets, they play a similar style to us, and theoretically, that should mean that we matchup better with them (yes, I'm aware we got crushed the first time we played them). I also think Tele is going to get some legit playing time now, so that's a great sign.

I'm in shock that Evans still gets as many minutes as he does. It's been a recurring theme EVERY game: we struggle with Evans in the game, he goes out, we make a run...Evans comes back in, they make a run...Evans goes out, we make a run...Evans sits out in crunch time, and we play our best basketball and usually win the game. PJ obviously recognizes that playing Evans a ton of minutes is not conducive to winning, because he does bench him in a close game in the 4th quarter. Why can't he just not play him that much from the very beginning? At what point is he going to say to himself "hey, we seem to play a lot better whenever Evans is out of the game...maybe I should bring him off the bench again and use him in limited spurts, like every other team would use him?", or are we going to be stuck with Reggie "Tragic Johnson" Evans as the starting PF the rest of the way? I'm going crazy every time I see a potential 6-0 run in Mirza rot on the bench, while Evans provides NOTHING. He's not even rebounding that well! That's the only positive attribute he brings to a team, and he's not even doing that, yet he still gets playing time, and legitimate playing time at that (20+ mpg every game). This is one of the most inexplicable situations I've ever seen.

We're going to get blown out on national television.

wish this game wasnt on national TV... we are just going to be discredit as a joke again after another loss with everyone watching.

Lopez needs to man up and at least play gasol to a stalemate. and defensively we cant give up 40+ points in the paint.

we need to limit turnovers to under 10.

I bet PJ plays Evans 30+ mpg and doesn't play Mirza because Randolph is a bad match up - yet Z-Bo will light up Evans anyway (while getting the luxury of resting on defense).

Then, PJ forgets Mirza exists for the next 5 games.

I'm going to this game!

Glad it was a gift cuz otherwise this would've been a game that I wouldn't even have watched.

I know our bench can be a double-edged sword but we can't really compete with the best teams if we don't use our bench that often.

I really hope to see Mirza in more often and if JJ is out, Brooks has got to play even if he makes a few mistakes here and there.

It's on national television, so that alone makes it a blowout loss.

It's hilarious how we all expect to get blown out and Grizzlie fans are hoping they can beat a good team.

Randolph is actually a great match up for Mirza, there's no way Zach has the speed and quickness to chase him around off screens and pick and pop.

Im sure Randolph lost sleep on how he can shut down our 36% sharpshooter.

I dont know why people think we are going to lose for. We match up well with the Griz now that they traded Gay. Plus it's a home game. I expect a win.

Not many PFs do - that hasn't stopped PJ from not playing Mirza all year long. I expect Hump and Evans to guard him because they're "better defenders." I'd love to be proved wrong and see him get a chance.

I hope Taylor gets some burn tonight. Our coaching staff have failed miserably when it comes to managing the teams minutes. Taylor was huge for us in both wins heading into the all star break, is DNP-CD's ever since. Joe is out and Watson is starting, there is no reason Taylor shouldn't get 10-12 min.

Deron must hate the fact that JJ is out. Last game, he was guarded by the 6'9 Chandler Parsons and today he gets to go against Tony Allen :lol

Atleast Reggie Evans can be useful in this game but he probably will find away to be useless as always

It's honestly a disgrace that Reggie Evans is starting and we have no JJ. It's 2 on 5 now.

It's crazy how efficient Memphis becomes on offense against us. They get everything they want.
