I think we take this game. I mean, I'm playing the odds and just assuming that PJ can't be this blind and will reduce the amount of minutes that Evans gets, and will play better lineups. It hasn't happened yet, but this is like the 5th time that Mirza randomly came in and completely turned a game around, while Evans and Hump were on the bench after they played key roles in us falling behind in the first place.

D-Will plays his best ball of the season, and we go 3-3, because PJ is constantly setting up our players to fail. Doesn't help that we're getting NOTHING from our SF either. Wallace is such trash.

The Bulls really don't have any offense outside of Deng, Robinson, and Boozer catching fire. Their defense is obviously very tough, but teams that rely heavily on defense and don't have much offense are the types of teams that we can beat.

Deng and Hamilton are game time decisions. So they will both be playing 48 minutes.

The optimism is refreshing. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

The reality is, the Nets will lose this game as well. Once again, PJC will opt to let this team sputter along with garbage like Evans and Wallace out there instead of giving Teletovic a clean shot. We came back when he was on the floor last night. In the Grizz game, we were in it til the end with him out there defending Gasol

I don't care if he messes up at times. Let him play through it. His mistakes are far less damning than Evans', and he actually creates space and makes plays.

Give me Lopez/Teletovic/Wallace/Johnson/Williams, with Blatche, Hump, CJ, and Bogans providing bench help.

We are a terrible defensive team, so why not start Mirza, let him get into a groove, and let him develop some chemistry with the starters?

I would say let's bench Wallace too, but I like Bogans' play off of the bench and him to close out games.

Anyway, none of that will be done, and we will lose this game tonight.

If the Nets win this game, it's a big confidence boost (especially if Deng and Hamilton are playing).

Every team has an embarrassing loss every once in a while and we need to come out and show that last night's loss was exactly that, a fluke. Good teams go out and have bounce back games. In fact, the Mavs played terribly against the Grizzlies and now they came out and beat us.

However, if we come out with a similar effort as last night, the theme that we lack heart/fight will be all the more true.

im all for mirza starting and evans riding pine and all, but its simply untrue that mirza completely turned us around last night or that the mavs took a huge lead with evans/hump on the floor. mirza came in to the game in the late 3rd and dallas went on a 17-3 run with him on the floor. we didi well getting back into the game with mirza on the floor, but its not like he came in with us trailing and helped bring us back into the game like the houston game,

D-Will plays his best ball of the season, and we go 3-3, because PJ is constantly setting up our players to fail. Doesn't help that we're getting NOTHING from our SF either. Wallace is such trash.

dwill has been better, but he hasnt been exactly playing all-star calibur basketball. he has turned it over a ton and been pretty poor in the second halves of games

our track record of bouncing back after being embarassed isnt good. we tend to follow up getting embarassed with an even more dismal performance.

this team doesnt have pride, and frankly, i dont think losses like last night bother them.

I hope PJ accidentally stumbles upon a successful line-up for at least 20/48 minutes for this game.

Might give us a shot.

Indeed. In fact I did drink a bottle of water before falling asleep. Better not to take Advil with all that alcohol in your system the night of though, not good for the liver, kydneys, etc.

Had a smoothie and some water in the morning though, great replenishers, wish I had some coconut water though haha.

Hamilton is out.

Somehow, we will still find a way to lose in the 3rd quarter.

When you're comparing the offense of DENG, NATE, and BOOZER to Deron, JJ and Lopez - that's quite an advantage for us. Also, did you miss Blatche dominating Gibson last time?

He's right though - teams like the Pacers and the Bulls have offensive droughts like we do, so they don't blow us out. When we have our usual 9 or 13 point quarter, the game is tied or close instead of us being down 16.

They really need to punk us out to win which I don't expect. Last time, PJ was bewildered by the Bulls playing a small lineup that everyone knew they would play until the 4th quarter. After he stopped playing Evans and letting the Bulls shut us down, we were fine. This time the matchups are more typical and don't require too much thinking on PJ's part, so we should be okay.

By the way, Evans has played more minutes this year already than he has since 2007-08.

His career high in minutes was in Toronto and PJ was on the coaching staff.
