Need Some Ideas For Some Sig Bets

For some bitter Dallas fans that I made bets with before the season.
Donald Kaufman
Hotrodbeaubois
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1200036&start=105Both insisted Dallas would finish with a better record, and the bet was specifically Dallas was going to finish at least 5 games ahead.
Donald is being a rather poor sport, so I'd really like to stick it to him.
Any good ideas or suggestions?

Don't you have a sig bet with An Unbiased Fan, about how we won't make the playoffs this year?
He's one of the most obnoxious posters I've seen, and I'm pretty sure he wants to have Kobe's babies. Something like "Wade>Kobe" for his sig would probably drive him up a wall, lol. Either way, think of something good for him too, he totally deserves it.

Yup.... I'll wait until we officially clinch for that one.
I'm doing good so far on bets....

The bet that Dallas would finish more than 5 games better than BK
Unbiased Fan
The bet was BK wouldn't make the playoffs
On another site:
1. $200 that the Sixers would not get 50 wins (sucker who is now avoiding the site)
2. Playoff Avatar bet that the Nets would get 42 or greater wins.

Those are great bets.
I put £50 at 33/1 on Brooklyn to win the Atlantic division. I made the bet last June prior to free agency hence the nice odds. Hopefully we pull through because it would mean I could afford to go to a playoff game.

Those are nice odds as well.
I hear right now they say NY has a 75% chance at the division.. but we shall see. I'm not sure who wins the division, but I do know it will be very close to the very end.
BTW... now that they are the playoffs I need 3 sigs as An Unbiased fan list his bet.

And if anyone feels like a good laugh, check this thread out. It's the one where I won the bet with An Unbiased Fan... but there is some flat out hate in this one.. either that or people are no where near as intelligent as I thought they were on RealGM.
Meanwhile we pretty much predicted our season spot on.

Since his avi is Skip Bayless, it would be funny if we could somehow tie in Skip's ridiculous claims and biases (like how LBJ isn't really that good) with AUF's claims.
Or maybe we can find a list of other predictions that he's made and show how they're all wrong and say "the unbiased fan is biased indeed."

Gotta work Stephen A. Smith in there somehow.

From that thread.....
Kupchak9
Cousins takes one less shot and Brook makes 1 more shot. Big Deal. Cousins is a bigger impact in the game.
MozTheMan
They are an 8/9 seed. Top teams will be Heat, knicks, Celts and Pacers
i am just thinking of the rebounding issues they will have with Lopez. They need him back or they are in trouble (we are #3 in rebound differential right now)
An Unbiased Fan
ad Max-contract Lopez adds zero wins, and JJ adds maybe 5.
You guys are lotto bound.
Brooklyn will be a marginal offensive team, with horrible defense. They''re a 30-37 win team at best
You can fool yourself into thinking the Nets are better than they are, but the reality is that they won't make the playoffs. I'm not comparing Brooklyn to last year's team, I'm looking at your crap roster as of today.
as of now, but it's a bit early to say. The Net's horrific defense will drop them towards the bottom of the EC though. The reality is that Deron is not the type of player who can lead aroster to the playoffs by himself(Kobe, Lebron, Wade). And I don't think the additions make up enough ground in the areas they needed to fill.
GetItDone
Honestly, I have the Nets at 6th, but I can definitely see them missing the playoffs or just getting the 8th seed. Deron simply isn't the guy good enough to carry a team and adding simply a declining Joe Johnson and even getting a Brook Lopez back, is simply not enough. There front court D still sucks. Philly improved, Washington did, Milwaukee with Ellis the whole year, I think it's definitely possible they miss the playoffs.
burgundy
i think the Nets will barely make the playoffs, because i think the way to beat the Nets is to out rebound them, so bad teams like the Pistons or Wizards could easily beat the Nets with the rebounding of Monroe and Nene (even a Rose-less Bulls team).
Heat
Pacers
Bulls
Celtics
Hawks
Knicks
Raptors, Nets, Pistons..... i think the Rap and Pistons could be better than the Nets depending on how Valanciunas and Lowry turn out and if Monroe can improve more.
doozyj
They are actually going to be good compared to before, probably a solid .500 team, good enough for the 8 seed, 1st round exit, but still great for the fans and the franchise.
SoCAL24
I think the Nets will be a bottom 5 defense in the league, but as long as they can be a top 5 offense they will easily make the playoffs. I think their frontcourt AND backcourt will get murdered on defense, but they should put up plenty of points.
andyo
I think they can sport a contender if they manage to move Lopez and prospects/picks for a better peice down the road. I simply don't think Lopez is that good, his defense and rebounding leaves much to be desired. Possibly going to irritate a lot of Net fans but I feel Lopez is extremely overrated and that contract he just signed will be terrible in a few years (if not immediately).
eLo
nets are bigets joke this off season, King is terrible gm, first was wallec who is now totally at the end of his career, then picking up the worst contract in the whole nba, now max for center who cant even rebound, absolute comedy

its just crazy how much hate lopez got in the offseason, and even crazier how much hate he still gets after having an all-star season and being top 3 in PER

I think if the background text was more visible/noticeable, that would be nice. Good job though.

Just give them a #GOODBYEDALLAS sig with a white background and black lettering, the opposite of the #HELLOBROOKLYN one.

LOL
Love it for Roddy B.
I don't know who Donald Kaufman is a fan of or an Unbiased Fan.
Can you turn into a pic?
I was also thinking something about Lopez being Dallas' daddy considering he's dropped 76 points his last two game in Dallas.

Agree... it's hard to see the text in the background, but I like it.

Well, like I said, An Unbiased Fan is a huge Kobe homer, so if you want to go that route, it's pretty easy to find something for him.
Donald Kaufman...I feel like he's a Dallas fan too, but not 100% sure.
