they're overusing that phrase so much

Joe is questionable for the game and the rest of the road trip...So, that's exciting more Marshon!

Well, It's our trademark road trip now. Only big market teams have it.
LA: "Grammy Road Trip"
SA: "Rodeo Road Trip"
CHI: "Chicago Circus Trip"
They will probably make t-shirts for it soon.

Didn't realize how good Portland is at home -- and how awful they are on the road.

Portland Trail Blazers All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge did not participate in practice on Tuesday because he was sick. The Blazers play the Brooklyn Nets at the Rose Garden on Wednesday. Aldridge's status for that game is not yet known.
Candace Buckner of The Columbian reports on Twitter...
LaMarcus Aldridge did not practice today. "He wasn't feeling well. We sent him to the doctor, he was feeling a little weak." Terry Stotts
Stotts said the sickness and doctor's visit was not related to the migraine issues LMA's been working through.

Here's hoping LaMarcus makes a speedy recovery by Thursday.

Migraines and feeling sick? He's clearly pregnant. No need for him to play tonight.

This is what I'm thinking! He needs to take tonight's game off and get some rest.

Stefan Bondy just tweeted that Joe Johnson said he is not playing tonight.

Aldridge should definitely be cautious about this. Health is more important than basketball. No need to be a hero LeMarcus!
That said - big game for us tonight. I don't care how good Portland is on their home floor. On national TV, Deron needs to punk Lillard and Brook needs to have a MONSTER game. There's no one on that roster that can even dream of guarding him in the paint. I know PJ was really happy with that Phoenix win but I hope the players come out pissed and with something to prove.
Portland can run you off the floor if you come out flat-footed especially if Matthews/Batum get hot.

Call me crazy but I feel like Deron and JJ don't compliment each other or the team that well when they both are on the court together...JJ needs the ball but so does Deron...As long as Lopez and Blatche can provide the scoring punch JJ's absence should not be a big problem in the short term...Hopefully Watson, MarShon etc. can chip in and help put up some points...They should rest JJ until he's 100% or as close to 100% as possible because in the playoffs he will be needed when the half-court style of play kicks in.

If we were mentally weak we would have lost to the Suns. Brook did not set the tone and it got sloppy. They looked more tired than weak.
They have improved in road situations compared to before. The more close games the better. They all still need expierence in close games as a team for the playoffs.
Shouldn't have blown a 16 point lead to Phoenix but I was pleased to see poise after letting the Clippers back in the night before.

I don't think you're crazy I agree, and Joe should be rested until he's 100% for the playoffs.

They can play off each other and compliment each other, I just don't think they have been good enough indvidually to show it. Also, this ISO system of Avery doesn't help.
Usually Deron and JJ play off each other by finding one another in the corners for threes but that is it. They should be used way more than just shooting threes.
