Players are tired of PJ and PJ responds with this...

Tyshawn Taylor:

Look, I want everybody to know that I'm happy to be in the NBA, but I want everybody to also know that I'm not happy sitting on the bench. How do I do that? I come around the media, I smile a lot. I work hard. 'Oh, he's a good kid, he's happy.' Yeah, I'm happy to be in the NBA. I'm happy to be here everyday with you guys. But I'm not happy I'm on the sidelines while you all are scrimmaging. I'm not happy about that. I don't know how to show both at the same time. It's hard.

There's a chance I'll sit on the bench again for another team. I'll at least ... I feel like I will always have an opportunity. Once I get an opportunity, people will say either he can play or he can't, At least I'll know. I'll know whether I'll be a back-up point guard or maybe this guy has the potential to be a starting point guard on some teams. Or maybe he's a third guard for the rest of his career, just gonna have to sit on the bench and be a good teammate, be one of those tough players, locker room players that make money.

I got examples all over of how this works. Stack, Mirza, MarShon, Hump. These guys are examples of how one day you can be here and the next day you can't be here, but it doesn't mean that it's over. I feel right now that in the NBA right now, I'm at the bottom of the barrel. I don't think it can get worse than this: I don't think I'll ever get paid as much as I'm getting now.

Gerald Wallace:

"I don't have a clue what my role is on this team."

Wallace is a slasher who is more comfortable in the open floor , and he said his struggles are related to Brooklyn’s inability to push the ball in transition against the Bulls.

In the halfcourt game that has defined the last two games, Wallace has been asked to hit spot-up jumpers. He has missed most.

“My shot just ain’t falling,” he said. “Execution is poor offensively. They’re doing a good job defensively disrupting our rhythm. …Playing in a halfcourt set where they kind of load up. They’re pretty good defensively of pushing you to one side of the court. We haven’t been able to get in transition the past two games, and they’ve done a great job of keeping us from doing that.”

Stackhouse:

Well, almost. Though Stackhouse bites his tongue and smiles and advises, this hasn't been the easiest of seasons. He has struggled to understand his role under coach P.J. Carlesimo ("A lot of times you find out who's playing and who's not through newspapers," Stackhouse says. "That's how P.J. operates.") and suffers on the nights the warm-up pants stay on ("Competitors want to be out there," he says. "That's how they should be.").

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...NETS FANS...THIS IS OUR COACH:

Thoughts about it (changing the starting lineup)? Yeah,” Carlesimo said. But we’re not going to change the starting lineup. If we’re struggling offensively then we need to address that. If changing the lineup or changing who we put on the floor helps us to score points then we’re going to have to do that. …It’s a tough balance because some of the problems we have is not because those guys (Gerald Wallace and Reggie Evans) are not scoring. If we do some of the things that we normally do – if we make some threes, if we finish in the paint, then we’re okay and we can take advantage of other guys skill sets.

HOLY CONTRADICTION, BATMAN

And not just say, ‘to hell with it, let’s just put an offensive team out there.’ Because that’ll get you in trouble where all of a sudden we’re not as good defensively anymore. We’re not as good rebounding anymore. By the fourth quarter last night, we had to score points. Whether we get that dramatically where we have to change the lineup five minutes into the game, I don’t know. But it’s certainly a concern going forward.”

THE BULLS ARE THE TOP 5 WORSE OFFENSIVE TEAM IN THE LEAGUE

-Deron, CJ, Joe, Blatche, Lopez lineup? Held the Bulls to 3 points in a a 5 minute span while outscoring the Bulls by 7 and cutting a 12 point lead to 4.

In Game 3, Deron, CJ, Joe, Blatche, Lopez lineup held the Bulls to 4 points in a QUARTER while outscoring them by 10+.

Blache/Lopez has the best offensive rebounding percentages on the team and better than Reggie/Lopez and Hump/Lopez.

Our best overall lineup through the season in wins? Deron, CJ, Joe, Wallace, Lopez which had the best pick and roll defense percentages.

This man is a disgrace. I don't think I'm going to watch tomorrow or Monday. I'm just sick of this crap. We're losing out on alot of good talent that could bolster our bench because this moron is killing their confidence.

I don't think I have EVER seen a incompetent coach like this is all of my years of following professional sports.

I really don't want this team to lose in the first round to the Bulls though. They are a tough team, scrappy, great defense and all and Thibs is a really good coach, but that is a tough pill to swallow with no Rose and Noah playing on one wheel.

At least get us to Miami, let us get blown out in 4 out of the hopeful 5 we last, that 5th hopefully being a nail biter win in BK.

Then this offseason they can regroup, although I really question how much with Billy King of the Overpay at the helm?

I mean who is his guy as the new head coach?

He's always seemed to like big name defensive slow down guys who yell at the players and get tuned out by everyone except his darling within a couple years, or he goes for the semi-weird hire of a guy who deserves a shot, but shouldn't necessarily be getting his shot with King's team and the place they're at in the NBA competition hierarchy.

And what trades can he make? What trades does he make?

This is the guy the whole league is looking to ripoff.

So deflating.

Even though all of this is obviously true, Tyshawn has a lot of nerve though.

He's a 2nd round nobody as of now who's had a handful of good games in limited opportunity, mainly in garbage time. It's not his place to create these type of waves, especially given his timing.

I mean a rookie bench warmer is trying to start a mutiny mid-possible-playoffs-collapse?

It's kind of like, STFU and stay in your place, you have not arrived just yet. Who the **** are you?

I noticed he gets out of pocket a lot in post game interviews, like at the end of the year that game he went ham, and he's all big upping himself and throwing shots at the coaching staff and his teammates and openly complaining about his lack of opportunity to the interviewer live on the floor and in the locker room.

Again, who the **** are you?

I like some confidence, hell I like a lot of confidence and maybe even borderline arrogance, but he's a prime suspect to get chin checked by a fellow teammate IMHO. Probably not now or for these specific comments or one's he's made already, but I feel he has some of that run his mouth when he shouldn't and piss off everyone til they don't like him personality, like a Jeff McInnis, who ironically I feel his game parallels a solid amount.

This to me is probably one of the dumbest things I've ever heard a coach say.

Our offense is not scoring...

The Bulls are loading up on the scorers so that it's harder for them to make shots since they don't have to guard Wallace and Reggie...

PJ: "Well, if we just make more threes and finish in the paint, we'd win the game".... :o ... :x ...:nonono:

this just isnt based in facts. the bulls barely doubled off of anyone. and we couldnt score when reggie and wallace were on the bench either.

everyone wants to play the floor spacing card, but the bulls are playing us straight up.... cause they dont need to double.

Is it a wonder why Spree wrapped his hands and fingers around this man's neck and began to squeeze until his face turned blue?

I mean seriously, I think I understand now.

This interview that Taylor did with Alyonika whats her face the BCTV reporter did, think it was the 2nd part.....

yeh it's just been made private so in effect been pulled. It's funny because when I saw the interview it really didn't come across as Taylor having shots at the Nets.

Mountain has been made out of a mole hill, well played Brooklyn, well played.

Reading my post back and I feel I kind of went overboard a touch because I'm so pissed and in all reality, that's a possible microcosm of what the locker room is like because of PJ right now.

Blowing things out of proportion because frustrations are boiling over.

And that's why even if I did go overboard, there's a good chance that's the type of reaction some of his teammates had to that interview and him in general if Ty's like that a lot of the time.

Yeah he might not have completely come across like that, but it's likely that's how certain guys interpreted it and if that interview was recent, this isn't the time or the place for him to be airing this stuff given his nonexistent clout and place on the totem pole.

I respect the hunger, the drive and the aspirations though. Better he's like that then some lazy crap who's satisfied just saying he's made the NBA after a tumultuous journey to get there. I truly do respect that aspect of it for sure.

Just saying, with all that's going on, is it really a time to be selfish when you're a 2nd round rookie?

Players roles have changed all year. It's disgusting.

Under Avery and now under PJ.

I mean Marshon who played some of the most important minutes last night was taken completely out of the rotation for a lot of games. As well as Hump!

It completely destroyed Hump this year, as well as the fact they were looking hard to trade him. He has looked terrible for most of the year compared to last year.

Marshon has also depreciated because they took him out and have played in randomly this year.

These comments are moronic because our defense sucks too, its not like you are taking out great defenders. Blatche and CJ are not that much worse defensively, but they are infinitely better offensively.

I intentionally did not say "double team" because I didn't want people to think that's what I meant but I guess "loading up" can be interpreted as double teamed.

I agree that they're not actively double-teaming our big 3, but they're basically playing a modified Box-1 zone defense and only extend themselves away from the paint only when they need to.

Since they don't have to worry about Evans and Wallace, the only time the Bulls really have to work and attentive is when one of the Big 3 have the ball in their hands.

If we drive, they collapse and we don't really have any one to kick it out to when Evans and Wallace are on the court together.

Its just funny that he goes to the "if we made more shots" line to defend Wallace and Evans, yet they're the ones who most consistently miss at the rim and miss 3s. More so Wallace than Evans since Evans doesn't really get that many attempts anyway.

I was so upset with PJ last night I wasn't even upset at the team and I didn't even bother watching the 4th because I was so mad at PJ. How does someone see a train wreck playing on the court and makes zero changes and also plays Stackhouse over 4 players who are clearly better than him

and PJ is not the best coach, but he turned your season around. why turn on him so vehemently now?

y'all aren't playing a scrub team. my beloved knicks would have their hands full with the bulls too.

i'm seeing good, entertaining games of scrappy eastern conference ball. just a tought first round matchup, which is why you never want to be in a 4/5.

i was curious if y'all made these jokes on this board. the elephant in the room is that he got yoked up good. players have to always have that in the back of their minds.

Ahh don't worry, your team will come back and beat the bull, then face the heat. That will also go to a game 7 while your team will have a chance at the buzzer of game 7 to win but they will fall short. The heat will move on...Great comeback about to take place. A man from 7 years ago told me that these things would happen and much more...This is no joke....This is real...
