I'm glad it tanked, because f*** Jayden Smith. What did that little s*** do to gain all of this fame besides being Will Smith's son?

Pretty sad to see with regards to Shyamalan though. He had such a fantastic start to his career, and was pretty much on top of the movie-making world (his first 3 movies were all critically acclaimed: The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs), and then every movie after that was a legitimate bomb. He went from Christopher Nolan status to Michael Bay status (seriously, Bay and Shyamalan were being compared in the Media forum)...but at least Bay's movies consistently bring in a TON of box office money.

Kinda surprised that he still got so much funding and was able to work with so many high profile actors even after he became a hack.

Wasn't a fan of Unbreakable and it had two of my favorite actors in it.

I for one have been disappointed with most of the movies after The Village...The Happening was a big disappointment, though it made money as did others, The Last Airbender, etc...I do agree the w/ direction After Earth is headed, M Night may need to concentrate on some lower budget movies to get back to where he started...
