Incredible value for the Nets.
AK wanted a multi year deal....and he wanted to start, this was important to him.
He gets 1 year and he will be playing behind KG and Pierce.

Wow, incredible.
As one of King's biggest critics...the time for bitching about him is officially over. We just had by far the best offseason in the league, and we didn't lose ANYONE of worth.

We lost Marshon Brooks. That alone reduces this offseason from A+ to B-.
I'm stunned right now. Getting Kirilenko is huge for us... Wow.

absolute steal. awesome pickup and will give more rest to PP/KG at the 3/4.
So if Bogs agreed to come here this never would have happened or did Billy know the whole time?

Wouldn't have been possible. And Billy didn't know the whole time, the beatwriters make up a good point, it had more to do with the market drying up.
Props to King nonetheless. This has been a fantastic offseason. Couldn't have wished for anything better. The only hiccup might be the Jason Kidd hiring, but all in all wow...

Agree, as another of his biggest critic we have to give credit where it's due and I must say BK has just had himself a damn fine off-season. Delighted with this signing and what BK has done this year
We as Nets fans should lay off him for at least 2 years now for what he's done this year
Now we shall wait for Knick fans to somehow argue they are still better than us

Everyone's screaming about under the table money on the GB...but couldn't it honestly just be a lack of options from Kirilenko's end? There were a bunch of teams that were interested in him, but they went in other directions and they ended up not having the money to pay him what he wanted. So if he was going to take a big paycut to play for a good team, wouldn't it be logical that he would pick here, since he's friends with Deron and Proky?
IDK, I'm not ignoring the possibility that Proky COULD be paying him under the table, just that there's a valid reason not to think that as well.
