Seriously, unless we're giving Kyrie the benefit of the doubt health-wise, there is nobody even remotely close to Kevin Garnett at this point.

Vote: Kevin Garnett

i just cant put KG in over hordford when he is going to play 20 less games and 6-10 less minutes per night

Maybe more like 10-15 less games, and in those fewer minutes and fewer games, KG is the unquestionably better player.

KG and Duncan are still the best defensive players in the game per minute...only reason you can even make a case for guys like Howard and Marc Gasol is because of the minutes played. If you care about the stats at all, KG's impact has been beyond ridiculous. There's a reason why Boston always collapsed without him.

I realize you love yourself some Pierce, but there's a reason why everyone was excited when KG agreed to the trade...because HE'S the one that makes us contenders, not Pierce. Pierce right now is just a better version of Joe Johnson, while KG is the leader and defensive anchor we badly needed.

lets say its 15 games. lets say he also plays 5 less minutes per game. thats like 700+ more minutes horford will play. while i agree with all you said on KG and his impact, i just value horford more when factoring in court time.

Fair enough. KG will be a great defensive anchor.

But Paul does have ten times more game left than KG. Paul's advanced & basic stat line was LeBron-like in many respects after the ASG last season.
