Garnett has been quite the overpasser so far...he's getting wide open looks from 15-20 feet, and not taking them. Instead, the defense recovers, and then he decides to shoot off the dribble for some reason with a hand in his face. If he just takes the shot as soon as it presents itself, he'd be much better, and our team would benefit big time.
But he's got to rip Lopez and Blatche new ass holes when Lopez is playing like a pussy or when Blatche is playing like an idiot. That's one of the main reasons why we got him, to be that leader that lights a fire under people's asses when they need it. I mean, Blatche is giving terrible effort on defense WHILE KG is on the floor next to him. I didn't think that was going to be possible, I would have figured KG would have ripped him a new one on the spot. Instead, he's just inbounded the ball and gone on his way. Come on dude! Tell that moron off!

This is hilarious but sad...

His defense is just where it should be but he better get it together on both ends rebounding and offensively. I don't want that type of reputation on this team.

Anything but a big blowout game after this embarassing showing against the Magic is unacceptable. The team needs to respond .

Agreed.
I don't wanna hear anything about "It's early" and "there's a long way to go".
In fact, I don't want to hear the word "championship" or "elite" until they consistently prove themselves to be worth of those aspirations. Right now, we are what the record says we are.
The Nets talked about depth all offseason and how great this team is. Last year's team swept the Cavs and Magic in their season series. This year's team is already 0-2 against them.
If they don't show up at home against the Jazz, going forward I'll only put in as much effort watching the team as they put in playing the game.

Net's fan's what's the over and under on how many games until KG bitch slaps Blatche for his play? As much as I hate KG, you gotta give the man props for making his team tougher. That IMO is what this Nets team needs, they definitely have the talent to go far.

Looking for our guys to start attacking the paint.
Particularly Garnett, Deron, Johnson, and Pierce.
We need penetration, sign a Kardashian.

Hopefully garnett gets to this team before this team gets to garnett. we are all hoping its sooner rather then later.
As far as blatche, no need to single him out more then anyone else last night. the entire team was settling for long jumpers, and while out of control he was one of the few guys who was being aggressive and playing with some kind of enthusiasm.

Blatche needs to sit for awhile.

Bkatche did nothing well. In fact, after Paul's dunk that cut the lead to 11. Blatche takes a poor shot, gets lost defensively in a 5 point swing.
There is nothing positive to say about him. Whatsoever.

Difference is they played their ass off on Friday. Andray has been garbage for the entire preseason and first week of the regular season.

I hope Deron comes more aggressive and make more quick decisions between passing the ball and shooting. At times during the Magics game he hesitated to take his shots, especially on the floaters and that killed all his rhythm.
i also wonder why this team is playing pick and pop, and iso basketball when they have post player like Lopez to play inside out? the game would be so much easier for them playing from Lopez.
Johnson need more minutes. and Blatched needs to get traded if he keeps playing that garbage pre season basketball.
i dont think Kirelenko has found an identity with the offense yet, time will improve that.
This team wants to run but they look so much better when they slow the tempo down.
Im sure most of these things will improve with time, but i hope they bring more effort and stop playing lazy big names basketball.
oh and Blatche was the worse of them all, he killed all the momentum the Nets had on various occasions, just horrible basketball from him, he should get traded/benched if he cant settle down. Plumlee cant be worse than him at this point.
