Do we even know if PP, KG and AK are playing yet?
Seems like D.Will and Lopez are definitely out.

We've been playing well at home and better overall as of late, so I'm hoping we take this.

Portland has been really good thus far, with Lopez and Dwill out and possibly one or both of KG and Pierce this is going to be tough. They are coming off back to backs on the road though, so that should help.

Lillard and batum are playing lights out. id feel a bit better about playing at home if we werent come back from the west coast ourselves and flying cross country

either way, just win baby

We need to string together some wins here. The improvement is there but the Ws need to start coming along.

This game is one of the two most winnable games this week. I'd like to see us control the pace and tempo for 48 minutes for a change.

Do we know how long Lopez and Deron are each expected to be out?

Trying to put things in perspective and limit my panicking...

We have 6 losses... and there are 12 other teams with 6 or more losses.
In fact all but 8 teams have 4 or more losses.
We are 1.5 games back of the 5 seed in the East.

But now is the time top stop accumulating losses as we are 3 weeks and 10 games in.
It has to start with games like this.. at home against a team we clearly have more talent than.

Who is playing? Paul? KG? DWill? Brook? AK?

I like how The Nets don't give out injury information. It prevents other teams from formulating a game plan against us.

You have no idea what the starting lineup is going to be...except JJ

What the heck is going on with AK? Did he get no looks this summer b/c he was damaged goods? I would like to see more of him.

Looking at Portland's schedule, they've played basically no one. I mean everyone they've beat besides San An is basically straight bottom of the league garbage. That said, you can only beat who they put in front of you and we've been losing to these same teams and Portland has been winning on the road.

BTW, is Lillard really shooting 38% from the field yet 42% from 3 on 7 attempts? He must be absolutely abysmal from midrange and as a finisher, I have to look it up to make sure though.

We need to win this one, I don't care who is playing. We need to dig out of this goddamn hole

Prediction: Blazers to beat the Nets with a bombardment of 3's. Our perimeter defence sucks and the Blazers are very good from deep.

Lopez & D Will to sit out injured, Pierce & KG to play with another big loss tonight. I just can't see us winning this, the bloody Nets have turned me into a pessimist

i think that lineup would fare well. we would be better defensively and pierce and johnson can be aggressive as the number 1 and 2 options. team likely to play with tons of energy like the clippers game. i feel better about this then i would if we were at full strength.

this teams needs something to rally around, overciming injuries could help in the very short term

I like our chances, but we need to play with the same level of energy as we did against LAC. Hopefully, we get the same caliber of play from Plumlee and Blatche too, we need that kind of spark from our backup bigs.

And I have to believe that KG is going to turn it around at some point. He just has to. If the law of averages means anything, he's due for a game where he just doesn't miss from midrange.

Agree.
He didn't suddenly forget how to shoot. But at the same time we need more than mid range jump shots from KG to win, we need his defense.
