Would you guys trade taylor for prigioni? Knick board loves Prigioni. I think he sucks. I have been impressed with taylor though. I would probably throw you guys a second rounder too.

I love Prigioni and was hoping we'd pry him away from the knicks this summer and while I like Tyshawn Taylor more than most Nets fans (most people here can't stand him) I would probably do it. Don't see why for the knicks though... Taylor will probably never be a starter in this league and he'd be behind Udrih and Felton in the depth chart.

Maybe a small move is what both of our teams need for a kick start. I don't like Pablo's game at all. He never makes himself a triple threat. He's scared to shoot, is too slow to drive, everyone knows he going to pass the pass the ball. He does play pretty good d, but is not a great defender by any measure.

Taylor looks like he can do everything, he just needs time on the court.

Yeah, I think Prigs is great. He knows the game, can setup the offense, and space the floor pretty well. He's the prototypical backup PG that you'd love to have on your team as a backup or 3rd string PG.

However, I haven't seen him playing in a while so I don't know if he's declined or something.

I've always thought (and continue to think) that Taylor is a scrub. He doesn't have the IQ to succeed in the NBA long term.

Usually, he plays below average, but there are sometimes where he comes in (like our last game in LAC) and has a few good sequences that fool you into thinking he's starting to figure it out and then he'll commit two to three bonehead plays shortly after that erase all hope.

In short, I'd gladly do a Prigs-Prigioni swap as long as Prigs is healthy.

I wouldn't do the deal.

Prigs wouldn't get any minutes ahead of D Will or Livingston so why make the move?

Also our number 1 weakness is being really unathletic and not able to keep up with younger teams, we have a tendency to get run off the floor. Taylor is one of very few guys on our roster who is athletic and he might still develop into a good defensive guard.

So personally I wouldn't do the trade.

I think tonight marked the first time in history two basketball teams in NY were booed off the floor by a sellout crowd in the same week. :lol:

I agree he sucks, but there I don't think he's in Stephen Graham, Antoine Wright, and Yi territory.

If adding Prigs means possibly reducing AA's play time then maybe. You could try a second unit of Prigs-Livingston-AK (whenever he gets healthy)-Blatche-Evans. Could be a nice. But meh, I don't know what could really fix this team.

Haven't watched enough Knicks basketball to know Prigs style. However if he's not as turnover prone as TT, I would do it.
