D-Will is playing.

That was a lot faster than I expected. I was thinking a 2 week absence at first

Like I said in the game thread, he was playing that ankle injury up.

He barely stepped on Blatche's shoe and he acted like someone took a machete to his leg.

If you watch a replay, you'll see that it wasn't that bad at all. I knew it wasnt serious. The fact that he had a 2 game absence but comes back immediately without any minutes restriction tells you that they were being super-cautious. Even if he's ready to go after 1 game, they'll keep him out of 2 games just to be super -cautious and sure he's ok.

they play hard and they play with a chip on their shoulders. they have some shooters as well. they beat the knicks and that was prior to chandler being out. a loss here shouldnt shock anyone especially on the road

Dwill and Lopez playing tonight?

Deron better start wearing an ankle brace or wrap, we can't keep having this. Jeez.

We need to take advantage of the Knicks stuggles and start to win so we can run NY.

teams simply dont fear us. and worse, they feel extremely confident they can beat us by hustling and outworking us. and right now thats basically 100% accurate. There isnt a team in the league that cant beat us if they play balls to the wall for 48 minutes, because we max out at like 24.

thats sad commentary in a league where talent trumps all. hope we win by like 2 or 3 after blowing a lead. a big blowout will just give this team false confidence.

Charlotte might have a great team in a big market town, but our guys will show them that great talent and big money don't mean a thing when you mess with the Brooklyn Nets.

LETS GO NETS !!!

I'm not too,too concerned with the record thus far (not that it's great news!)

What really bothers me is that Negativity, Dissension and Finger Pointing may well pick up nefarious steam (if it hasn't already).

On that basis, this and the next couple of games become very important...

There wouldn't be negativity nor finger pointing had the Nets won the games they're suppose to win rather than losing by double digits mostly....

we've had a soft schedule thus far and instead of running away with the division we're at the bottom with the other poorous atlantic teams....

The stats of the night for me are PITP and TOs.

When we take care of the ball and actually look to score inside, we're basically unstoppable on offense.

We should only be taking long 2s and 3s if the opportunity presents itself and we're wide open.

We settle for a ridiculous amount of long 2s and 3s.

We attempt 17.9 FGAs between 16-23.9ft (7th in the league) but we're shooting it at39.1% FG% from that range (15th).

Conversely, We attempt 31.1 FGAs within 8ft of the basket (24th in the league) and shoot 51.9% in that range (22nd). Shooting a lower percentage on fewer attempts in the area where FG% and FGA should be highest on the floor is a recipe for bad play.

And if they are going to chuck up jumpers anyway...take a step back and take a 3 instead of a long 2. The long 2 is by far the most inefficient shot in the game. I understand that's KG's bread and butter, but guys like Pierce, Johnson, and D-Will...unless you're wide open from midrange, just take the 3 if you're going to shoot from the outside. You're just giving away points if you keep attempting long jumpers from a step inside of the 3pt line.
