Shaun Livingston- How good can he become

pistons fan here, He's been looking like the nets best point guard this year and it seems as if he still has pretty good athleticism.

This might seem far fetched but If he continues to develop his game how good can he be. He looks like he can be an above average starting point guard. What I have seen from a few net games is he has a good feel on where good shots are. I.e. he sees the floor well.

Anyways he's 27 but with the fewer amount of miles on him I believe he can peak as a PG at about 30/31.

Now I may be overrating what he is based on small sample size, but he looks like the most consistent guy on the court second after brook lopez.

Thoughts?

You can't teach that height and length. If you were to build the perfect point guard body it would look like his. Michael Carter-Williams is similarly lucky. Shaun Livingston has incredible poise and court vision to go along with it. The injury has cost him some athleticism no doubt, but he makes the most of what he has and he's definitely performing like one of our best players right now.

His ceiling will probably only be limited by how much athleticism he can recover before he starts to decline. I only hope that we find a way to keep him next year and beyond.

At this point, he's definitely playing like an above average starting PG. I think he'd be a great fit for a team like the Pacers who would get a pass first PG with great height, instincts, and defensive ability. He runs the offense very well and the only big knock to his game right now is his lack of 3 point shot.
