Pierce said he's willing to do whatever it takes to help this team. Even said, unsolicited, that'd he'd be willing to come off bench. #Nets

Sounds good but AK needs to get off this "my back hurts" jargon..... when is AK going to be healthy? lol

Love hearing that from him as i think thats the role he can have success in and what would help the team most. I think he just muddles things up starting where we need more athletecism/role playing then we do another high usage ball handler/scorer. I'm fine with Anderson/AK(when he is back) getting those minutes.

Hopefully a bench role well help pierce get his energy level up, and allow him to be more aggressive as one of the 1st or second options on the second unit, playing with other high energy guys(Evans/Blatache/Livnigston/Taylor/Toko/etc).

we really need him to step up to turn this thing around

Thank goodness, love his attitude. Also, love that this minimizes the risk of us having to play Toko. Toko's PER is 2.6 at the moment. He makes Austin Rivers look good :o

I love it also. But he should not return with an unhealed fracture in his shooting hand. It will clearly STILL affect his shooting - as it has for several weeks.
