For the second consecutive year, the Nets lose Brook in the month of December due to a foot injury. But we are still a quarter through the season and thankfully, It's only been 2 months of incompetent basketball. Aside from the former Championship aspirations, the true value of putting together a veteran team is to handle adversity and continue to stay the course through injuries, turmoil and media scrutiny. The true test of the IQ, experience, poise and heart of this entire team and coaching staff will be tested from here on out.

The Nets

-4-5 in the month of December
-Team Average of 102.4 points per game
-With D-Will on the floor, the Nets average 114 points per game
-In losses, The Nets allow 107.3 points per game and 42 rebounds per game
-In Wins, The Nets allow 94.4 points per game

The Opponent

Image

-6-4 in the month of December
-Team Average of 100.0 points per game
-Team Defense Average of 96.7 (#1 defense in the NBA)
-In losses, the Pacers allow 106 points per game and allow 42 rebounds per game

i think the team rallies around this. i think we see the best effort we have seen all year, and win by 6-10 points. I expect KG and Pierce to officially take over as the leaders of this team and them to play balls to the wall tonite.

hoping for a big shooting day from mirza. this is his time to step up as well.

yea, seems like nothing will come of it... but, if we can do a variation where lin goes to a 3rd team and we get a pick or something id do that deal in a second.

we arent going anywhere with lopez/dwill as our core. if we can get out under dwill who is owed 22+ million in 2016, that would give us pure cap space that offseason. we have no picks, so that cap space and free agency is really our best/only bet to rebuild/reboot this team.

in the short term, we'd be decent with JJ/Pierce/Blatche/Asik as a 7-8 seed treadmill.

Did you put money on that?

Pacers beat the Rockets 114-81 and the Celtics 106-79 in their last 2 games.

*Trap game*

In all seriousness, it's not like the season was favorable for the Nets when Lopez went down. With that said if they lose the battle, they can still fight another day. It honestly cannot get much worse.

I got Brooklyn beating a tired Pacers team by 8. They play up to their level of competition tonight.

I honestly can't stand Hibbert. That punk move on AA was uncalled for.
