No future, no plan, no heart, no chemistry. Just some guys playing some games. whatever.

Any season in which the Nets beat out the Knicks is still somewhat worthwhile for me.

I hope that they at least do that. So, I'll be following.

Also want to watch A.K. when he comes back and see how other players evolve/devolve.

But this year ain't livin' up to potential thus far. That's for certain.

We won't beat out the Knicks. Knicks suck but we are still worse. This team is pathetic. For the rest of the season I'm just going to be a basketball fan. No favorite team just watch basketball to enjoy the sport itself

LOL, we got beat by 30 points the last time we played the Knicks.

And they actually play with some pride. We just got blown out, at home, on national TV, by a depleted Bulls team (hmm, sounds familiar).

Seriously, the only good player on this team now that Brook is out is Deron. Everyone else blows.

Try watching and rooting against the Knicks. I've watched almost every Knicks game this year. It works pretty well, Games are very enjoyable.

I never liked Knicks....and not much of the Nets because I never liked Jason Kidd.

But since D-Will was in starting PG, I have been watching. It seems like Nets have been barely getting by ever since. Last year was a decent year but still had the wobbly legs with new coaches.

Then they fire a good coach again, they have been expecting to be "Finals" good in just 1 season turn around. After going through 2 great coaches they settle on a rookie coach who has never even been assistant coach! I am 100% shocked Jason Kidd wasn't fired after that debacle with his assistant. If you had Jason Kidd as coach since D-Will came on, Nets still would never go to Finals, so I don't get why they bother keeping him on, But like I said, I have never liked him. I am only in with the Nets for D-Will, who hasn't exactly been "himself".

Heat might have had great turn around, but they had 2 Super Stars and Pat Riley on their side. With out that combination don't expect to bring in talent and go to finals that year.

Avery was not a great coach. He deserved to be fired.

If you put a gun to my head and say pick Avery, PJ, or Kidd, I would beg for PJ to come back in a heartbeat.

Wait, did you just call Avery & PJ 'great coaches'? They're so good no team even considered them this past offseason, despite there being so many openings throughout the league.

PJ did have a great record with the team. Had they had that pace all year they'd have been the 2nd seed. Not sure why you'd fire him unless you know you're getting an upgrade. I mean, I would've been fine had they hired someone proven.

I'll still watch (al)most every game. It is certainly more painful then watching the 12-70 team. id rather watch and awful team play hard and still suck then watch a talented team not care and suck a bit less.

this is the hardest team ive had to watch in the 25+ years ive been watching the team. which says alot since we are talking about the 80's-90's nets in there.

Im just hoping there is a huge division in this team the next month, where some guys mail it in and others keep playing, leading to those mailing it in getting traded. although, that likely wont happen sicne basically the entire team mailed it in from day 1
