I'm going to put as much effort into this thread as this team does playing basketball...

If history repeats itself.... wasn't this game last year (after the Spurs blowout) a huge win for us in which we put together a huge string of wins?

Is there any point in being optimistic?

ill watch, and laugh as our "stars" get blown away and then get embarassed by the thunders bench scrubs once the game is out of reach.

I hate games like this, vs good teams on the road. the expectation going in from coaches/players/management/media is that we are going to lose, so when we get blown out, its no big deal and we wont change anything.

cant wait til we play bad teams at home, this when when we get blown out the team will take more heat for it.

I just wish kidd would do something like give dwill a string of DNP-CD's or something. but thats his golf buddy so no way that happens

Any chance we know who gets the minutes between Reggie Evans and Mason Plumlee? Seems like Kidd almost switches them every single game but after a big game from Mason I would think he gets another go!..?

id play them together and cut KG's minutes. KG needs to hang it up. he is done both physically and no longer has the drive. he is clearly a defeated man.

I'd start mirza/blatche and come with reggie/plumlee off the bench.

we arent going to beat anyone anyway, might as well get reps for young guys and guys who hustle

Isn't this the last game of Blatche's absence aka suspension? Or is he back tonight??

It was a 4 game departure/suspension.

Kidd said that he wasn't making the road trip (and that was before the MIL game) so MIL, IND, SAS, and OKC makes the Thunder the last game that he won't be playing.

And now Deron is saying that he's playing injured. Just great.

Deron playing through injuries is just a bull **** excuse, once again.

Even if he is banged up...he's played like **** for a while now, not just the last couple of games, BEFORE he would have injured himself. He played great in his first few games back, and has since played like crap.

I'm so done with him. I doubt we trade him, but he's been such a disappointment ever since we acquired him, and I'm really leaning towards doing the trade for Lin+Asik. Lin has just been a flat out better player so far this year, and he always gives consistent effort. He's also younger and he's not perpetually injured half the season.

I'm so tired of having to apologize for and defend the "superstar" PG on a max contract, and his tissue paper ankles. More often than not, his struggles are because he stops playing hard, not because he's injured, and that's totally inexcusable.

This...might actually work tbh. Ibaka doesn't have a back to the basket game and is really just a jump shooter offensively. As long as Pierce boxes out and keeps him off the glass, the matchup should work fine, since Ibaka would either have to leave the paint or give up open jumpers to Pierce. Here's hoping Pierce makes those jumpers and it isn't brickfest '14.

Without Westbrook, they have exactly 1 player I'm worried about: Kevin Durant. Problem is, Durant has probably been the league MVP up until this point, and we really don't have much of a chance to guard him.

I'm not sure why anyone balked at the Lin + Asik for Deron. We'd be ripping the rockets off.

Then why do the Rockets make the trade?
