I was at the awesome win VS the Warriors with GUESS WHO???

3 rows back from center court with my 2 daughters & right behind us - Rod Thorn & Kiki Vandeweghe!!! Man, I sure as hell picked the right game to attend while visiting my girls in the Big Apple!!!
I chatted the former GMs up throughout the game. Rod was especially friendly. Only about 30 years of GM experience between the two of them!!! Rod loves Steph - knows Del Curry very well. He was impressed by Livingston. Thought Blatche was very active. Thinks KG is still very valuable. Knows Truth still has plenty of excellent game left.
Great great win. 4 game win streak. 4-0 in 2014. Even with no Lopez. Even with no Deron the last 2 wins. Beat the hottest team in the NBA. Down 16 points in Q1 & came back relentlessly. Now 14-21 & tied for the 8 seed - 2 games out of the 6 seed (to avoid Heat & Pacers in the first round) & 3.5 games out of the Atlantic Division lead/4 seed (which also avoids Heat & Pacers in the first round, & provides home court in the first round).
Team D was simply outstanding - the primary reason for this win & this winning streak.
KG played great great great D the whole game & was phenomenal on both ends in Q4. I actually thought he was 'totally done' based on the previous 34 games. Man, I am sooo glad to hopefully be wrong. Double technicals for KG & Lee down the stretch - CLASSIC KG - never stops running his mouth!!!
Joe was brilliant. Multiple clutch makes.
AK-47 is so active, so disruptive defensively, so smart.
Livingston was excellent.
MT with 2 timely 3s & rebounded like a horse.
Blatche was very active & aggressive - although I wanted to smack him when he refused to give the ball up, dribbled full court on a break & turned it over.
Paul was very good in the first half (11 points) on both ends, got into foul trouble early in Q3 & sat almost all of Q3, & did not have a rhythm offensively when he returned in Q4. He deferred to Joe (who was hot), & played aggressive/passionate D on multiple guys - twice literally took the ball out of their hands. 4 dumb TOs - clean it up, Paul. I personally wanted to see him score more - but I love this team win!!!
This is exactly what I have been waiting for since Paul & KG arrived. Maybe, just maybe, Paul will have a chance to 'at least' compete for a second ring after all.
Heatles on Friday & Atlantic Division leading Raptors on Saturday. Get it done!
