Knicks are helping us out playing the Heat close. All their starters are logging big minutes. Also likely no Chalmers and Battier will help. Less of a concern of getting torched from 3.
AK should be guarding Bron every minute he's on the court.
I'm cautiously optimistic

I personally don't see the Heat losing back to back games, let alone back to back games in NYC. They'll bounce back tmw night and will beat us imo.
I've learned that having any sort of expectations for this team and expecting them to build off any positive play will only lead to disappointment.

Were probably gonna get killed. I just hope we can keep it close. Under 10 points.

I'm not that worried to be honest. They will get up for this game. Even though the Heat played terrible tonight, they are lacking 3 point shooting with the injuries, Wade might skip this one and we're playing small, so it should be a bit easier to guard them and hide our 3 point defense and rebounding in the halfcourt compared to OKC/Golden State.
Wouldn't be surprised if the Big 3 go off at the sametime. Long as they play hard and keep up the same style of play, I'll be good with whichever the outcome.

I want to win, dammit.
Before Paul fractured his hand, he was excellent vs the Heat on opening night, & played Bron very well.
Tough team D for 48 minutes. Paul & Joe score the ball.
This team has momentum!

The Nets need to take care of business tomorrow against the Heat, cuz they got the Atlantic division leaders coming up and they ain't playing no game.

I actually think we can pull off this upset. If not, as long as we ball hard to the end...I'll be happy.

I think we'll lose this one, but as long as it isn't a blowout and we play hard, i'm good.

Heat played hard last night but lost to NY. Part of me wants to say they're the Heat, and they won't lose 2 in a row. But the other part of me knows we're hot now and that those guys may be a little fatigued from last night.
Nets win by single digits in a close one.

I think us getting blown out is just a tad more likely than us actually pulling the upset.
I still reluctant to place confidence in our ability to show up for a game. We've seen too many blowouts even against bad teams so it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever if MIA turned up and LBJ, Wade, and Bosh came on a mission to destroy tonight.
With that said, a few things can make the game a bit easier for us.
- As others have already stated, there's a good chance that Chalmers and Battier could be out for the game. Chalmers is no star player, but when he's playing well he's can knock down a solid number of 3s and is known for his pesky defense. If Battier is out, we won't have to worry about getting burned from the corner 3 as much.
- Even Ray Allen is struggling shooting 3s this year (only 36%). Apparently, he's been dealing with knee issues lately.
- If Wade plays tonight, I doubt (more like hope lol) that he'll be allowed to go 100% after logging 39min last night.
These reasons all lead me to believe that we should at least be able to make the game competitive. I'd at least respect that and be content with it.

18+ point loss for sure. Damn near unwatchable most of the game. Letdown special. IMHO.
