Well, I think we'll probably lose this one.

We suck on back to backs...but the Lakers are REALLY bad.

I think I'll take my chances and say we'll win.

I need to call out two players.

- When Mirza was fighting for his minutes in Dec and Jan he was a beast. Shot 45.4% FG/42.6% 3pt in Dec and 46% FG/42.1% 3pt. Now that he is a regular part of the rotation he is back to sucking 39.4% FG/25.6% 3pt in Feb. Teams have him scouted up and are going right at him. He needs to make adjustments.

- Allan Anderson has been in steady decline since November.
> Nov 40% 3pt
> Dec 36.7% 3pt
> Jan 33.3% 3pt
> Feb 25% 3pt

Add to it his selfish play and he has been killing the Nets as of late.

At least one of them has been hot for each month during the season. Now that they are both playing poorly at the same time I see BIG problems. We dont have anyone who can consistently score in the post so Mirza and Anderson have to hit their open shots to occupy that extra guy. If not teams are going to be able to double JJ, Pierce and DWill easier which takes the advantage of long ball away while exploiting our size disadvantages down low.

the worst part with mirza is when he isnt hitting 3's he doesnt help you - and even hurts you in all other areas.

Alan Anderson i think you can contribute his stats dropping due to an increased role. early on he was like 9th man. now he is starting or playing huge minutes. for a role guy thats always gonna drop your stats and efficiency.

Also, i feel like he has been much more unselfish then earlier in the year

Second of a back to back, 3rd game of a road trip. I hate that we have to play an awful team under that circumstance cause there is a decent shot we lose this game...

thats why when they were saying we have an easy schedule here on out i shook my head. we have alot of games vs sub .500 teams but they are on the road/on back to backs/teams we struggle with(i.e. detroit)

This team flat out mails it in on back to back nights. I'd be STUNNED if this game is even remotely competitive past three qtrs, the Nets will roll over and die like they always do.

Kidd is so frustrating. What the **** are saving KG for?!? We're currently the 8th seed. I can't wait for KG to be fresh when we get swept in the first round.

He's not gonna even play KG any extra minutes in the playoffs, either, apparently.

The Nets pregame is acting like they got Dr. J to come out of retirement and sign with the Nets. Seriously, it's like they got a Nets legend to come out of retirement to give it one more go.

There's just so many games Kidd has thrown away. He rested KG that game in the overtime game where Turner hit the game winner against us. Could've won that one perhaps if he rolled with KG. The first meeting against the Raptors he sat KG, I mean who knows we were pretty shot from the Heat game the night before. But Kidd just pulled all the starters at one point in the 3rd, a game we were leading by double digits during the 3rd. The Detroit game was ugly so I don't think playing KG solves all the issues, but we could've used him. That first meeting with the Clippers we were competitive late into the 4th, a game where he rested KG and Pierce. The Bulls game KG was a dominant force and he pulls him for Blatche late in the game because of this minutes restriction when Blatche had been horrendous.

I mean who knows what would've happened if he played KG or tossed out the minutes restriction, but all it takes is one game. One game could be the difference between the 6th seed and the 7th.
