If you would've voted more often, your vote could've changed the outcome of some of the earlier rankings.

Who's better than Curry? LeBron, Durant...and then the rest are extremely debatable. I'd say my top 5 right now would be LeBron, Durant, Curry, Griffin, and Melo. Love would make it, but he's still not good defensively. CP3 has missed too many games.
To me, Harden is extremely overrated.

Curry plays no defense, leads the league in turnovers and is prone to taking awful shots because "he's feeling it."
Paul despite missing a month is head and shoulders above Curry. Griffin is having a better season than Curry. I think Melo is better than Curry. George should be in the conversation because he plays on both ends of the floor. Dwight has more impact than Curry.
Curry is most likely a top 10 player, but top 5... no way.

Paul is not head and shoulders above Curry to the point that missing that many games still has him ahead. Curry has been the best PG in the NBA this season.
Prone to taking awful shots because he's feeling it...that could be said about every great scorer in the league. Curry is still scoring a lot of points on really high efficiency, so it's a moot point. If he was inefficient, his shot selection could be criticized, but he has elite efficiency. As for his TOs, I agree, he gets lackadaisical with the ball, but it also has to do with Jackson's rudimentary offense and the fact that there's no reliable ball handler on the team other than Curry.
And Curry not playing defense is one of the most obnoxious misconceptions out there. He's a decent defender, and at minimum, he's average. And his lack of defense isn't nearly as big of a deal as Love's, who plays PF. Curry is also an offensive monster, arguably better than anyone not named LeBron or Durant (again, CP3 would be ahead if he was healthier). Check his on/off numbers, and how much GS falls apart with him off the floor. It's also funny that Curry's defense is going to be criticized on the Nets forum, where we've defended Deron as being pretty much neutral defensively, when Curry is a better defender than Deron.

conley in the top 15 is alot better then george and curry in the top 5.

curry is a bad defender, he is like dwill level bad on defense.

You're right when you say that every star player in the league takes shots when they're "feeling" it, but it seems as if Curry takes one every other shot. He takes an unordinary amount of bad shots throughout a game. Look, he's the best shooter in the league and an excellent offensive player, but there are a number of players more efficient and "under control" of his game.
As for his defense, he is terrible. Deron while a below average defensive player himself is on another level defensively speaking. Golden state gets better defensively when he's off the court... and doesn't even have to guard the opposing star PG because he plays with Igoudala next to him.

I agree, Conley probably isn't a top 15 player, but it can be argued. I'm nominating him though, not trying to vote him in right now.
I'd say he's in that top 20 to 25 range though.
And IMHO, there is a solid argument to be made that he's in the top 15 even though I don't agree.

Curry is quicker than Deron and has better hands than Deron. He's better at getting around screens than Deron. He plays passing lanes well. His issue is he's not very athletic and isn't very strong. That doesn't make him a terrible defensive player. A minor change in on/off doesn't prove he's a bad defender, since there are a lot of things that can explain that. And to especially overlook the massive offensive impact the on/off shows he makes further misses the point imo.
His TS% is 59.8%, his ORating is 115, and his PER is 23.4. He's the best off-ball PG in the league, meaning you can play 2 PG lineups (like they did last year with Jack) and not have to marginalize either one. His ability to shoot puts so much pressure on a defense, and it's why the offense becomes damn near unstoppable when he's on the court. On top of his shooting ability, he's a really good passer too.
Who are the number of players that are more efficient and under control than him? When you're that good of a shooter, and you're that good at creating your own shot, shots that are bad for most players just aren't for him. And like the numbers show, his efficiency is elite and his offensive impact is huge...really hard to criticize anything about his offensive game, outside of him being a little TO-prone, which is not really a unique flaw for a high usage offensive player.
