Memphis was one of the teams I liked the most (despite having Rudy gay) out in the west, but they just HAD to trade for Courtney Lee.

TBH, I don't like a lot about Memphis besides Conely. I'm more so talking to watch and root for, not how good they've been or can be.

Gasol is fun to watch for the most part, but I think as good as he truly is, he gets pretty overrated and his rebounding is and has been pretty much worse then Brook Lopez's and somehow he gets a complete pass for it, even at times being considered a standalone good rebounder, forget in direct comparison.

Their snail slow pace can be annoying(I know we're slow overall too, ironic) and Zbo's game is totally aesthetically unpleasing.

Oh, I definitely agree with most of what you just said. I just rooted for them, because they were a team that took risks (randolph), found a diamond in the rough (Gasol), signed a player that wasn't really sought after by many teams and turned him into an elite role player (allen) and properly developed their lottery pick (Conley).

I like that they were built unconventionally without tanking and without getting lucky in the draft.

I don't really like our chances in this game, if I'm being honest. Strong defensive team, and a tough defensive matchup specifically for Deron and Johnson, so I don't expect much out of them. We don't really have an inside presence and we're in love with long 2s. It's no wonder our offense has sucked all year.

Offensively, Memphis does suck, but they're one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league, and that's a huge soft spot for us. I think Gasol and Z-Bo will feast.

KG is presumably a question mark for tomorrow's game too, I guess, because back spasms are no joke, and he's already being coddled as it is.

I mean I like our chances, but can definitely see this being a loss and one of those FML losses where we were right there the whole game back and forth single digit lead swapping and even have like a 4 or 5 point lead with 3 or so minutes left and blow it, losing by like 4 or 5 after they take the last second lead, we're forced to foul once or twice and miss our chance to tie.

I see this as one of the games we lose and then all hell breaks loose itt.

but on the real side I'd be surprised if they can pull out a win here w/o KG. Memphis has a great front line and although it's better than the Bulls the Nets were still able to somehow beat a front court greater then their's.

thats soo oddly specific  I could see this being a tough fought out win.. KG is going to need to really bring the D. Dwill needs to continue doing what hes doing. I could easily see Tony Allen locking up Joe Johnson. TBH this memphis team can really execute. This team is going to have disrupt them to have a chance.

Is Courtney Lee a bitch because he has a girl name or is he named after a girl because he's a bitch?

You mean like all the games we lose? And half the games we win too?

Hell breaks loose unless we blow the team out convincingly for the entire game

Probably a loss here, our lack of rebounding will do us in.

KG is out, so I expect a loss. Not a good match up, especially without KG.

Since some posters have been negative nancy and have reversed jinxed this team into a 3 game winning streak I will join the band wagon and say "WE SUCK!" Every single person in this team is scum! They are all worthless dont bother watching!

KG's back spasms is starting to get scary now.

This is why getting Jordan Hill or Glen Davis was so important. We really need another big that can defend and rebound for over 30 minutes

Can see a close win here, or a heartbreaking loss. Regardless, it would be huge if we can come up with a win, then facing the tanking celtics on friday.

Hopefully Plumlee is not a foul machine out there like he normally is. Will need big minutes from him.
