I'll be in attendance for this game... and this should be a win. no more stupid jitters for pierce i think he will be sharper.

we cant just show up and win though... stevens and rondo have both taken TONS of heat this week. Stevens especially has gotten killed. they are going to bring it and we need to match that.

if we come out with the same effort we have the last 2 it will be another blowout win. if not this could be a close one

I heard Wallace is done for the season and getting knee and ankle surgeries? Thank heavens we were able to move him.

Looking forward to a win here.

Men have different tastes in women & you are a young guy. But damn, you guys are preoccupied with massive boobs & buttocks. Physically speaking, give me a very pretty face, long toned legs, & a C cup every day of the week & 5 times on Sunday. Think Cameron Diaz.

It feels funny to write this, but Paul & the Nets need to maximize Ws & playoff seeding, & the Celtics need to maximize the tank for Jabari/Wiggins/Embiid. WIN.

PS Got front row seats for Nets @ Wiz in DC on Sat 3/15 & Suns @ Nets on Mon 3/17 at Barclays.

Should be a win here, no reason for them to lose now with the way they have played the last two games.

btw Rich, before you locked the last game thread, I wanted to say that I take offense to you(and other folks) implicating that I want the Nets to lose. That's complete bull **** dude.

Being down on the team's performance, not believing in them winning 50 games(like some other delusional posters do) based on the overall inconsistent and at times god awful product that has been put on the floor, and being critical of certain things = I want the Nets to lose? How and in what way?

When the Nets went on that win streak to start the year my tone was totally different. I saw that they had a spark and there was some legit gritty play, basically the team that I expected to see when the season began....but then that 15 game stretch where there were nights those dudes went out there and did not give a **** totally pissed me off. I have given the team total credit for the last two excellent efforts and I would like to see that continue, but at this point they need to do it for more than two games in a row before I start calling them world beaters, and I could care less about beating bum ass teams because they should do that.

Basically, that was uncalled for, and your implication is not only insulting, its asinine because if I wanted this team to lose you think I would get so mad when they DO??? WTF???? Are you and some other folks on here serious with this bull ****?

Not everyone has to be a blind homer, and we are all entitled to our opinions, and mine is this: the team has to put their money where their mouth is at this point because I'm not buying **** ing utter nonsense like "they can beat the Heat and Pacers" unless I see them do it. Why is that a problem to you and other folks?

If you're going to take me and others to task for having a jaded view point, why not keep it consistent and take the folks who spew outrageous **** like that as well, or is this like NaziDaily where its "BE POSITIVE OR GTFO!!!!" now? I would hope not.

and i'm 100% on point with this as well.... sure i hate on dwill and crap all over this team when they play poorly and dont have an optomistic look for this season. but im still there watching every game rooting this team on to win.

some responded to me in the thread before it was locked saying they had been a fan since the kidd era and had been through "hard times" with this team. i couldnt respond but if you've been a fan since 2000 then you've been a fan during the most successful 10-15 year stretch this franchise has seen since coming to the NBA.

some of us older heads have been a fan since '78, and have seen a whole lot worse in terms of play(33 all alone, the eyars after buck), in terms of luck(gettign 2 cant miss superstars and having them both miss in anderson and DC... petro busting out then being killed), and in terms of busts(obannon, dare, hopson)..

after all that some of us dont need to have a contending team to be a super engaged fan. ill be with this team until i die and with them shaving years off my life that may not be much longer

so when people say "if they suck so bad why watch"... because im a lifelong fan, not a fairweather one.

We should win this game. I like the fact Plumlee is going to start again; Plumlee starting will give him more experience and have a chance to play better. I like the mindset of Billy by seeing what was a part of the problem at the beginning of the year with age. He went out on got someone like Marcus Thornton to make us a little quicker so that someone can atleast run with Deron; this includes Plumlee as well. Mixing and Meshing young with old is probably also helping us against the quick teams. Of course, the majority of it is our defense as we have the 5 or 6th best in the league.

You serious? Take a look at the entirety of your posts in most game threads since the horrible stretch and even you would think it's stupid to see how you cry foul and play the victim card over ONE of my posts that talks about you and Prokorov. There's blind support and then there's the other end of the spectrum of just hating where it makes reading through game threads a damn chore instead of somewhere people love to post.

This is really all I'm going to say about this. Move on. You've derailed the thread.

Curious question. When KG comes back, how do you think a lineup w/ kg at the 4 & Plumlee at the 5 would work out? Obviously it'd be in preparation to play bigger teams in the playoffs. KG is more than a better passer to get MP a couple buckets & having a young big athletic energetic big next to KG is what he needs.

I guess you'd move Livingston to the bench? Dwill-Johnson-Pierce-Kg-Plumlee? Just think if you face Chi-Was-Tor-Ind, you're gonna havta go 2 bigs.

In that case, you'd throw kg on the slower guy & MP on the better, more athletic player. Idk just a thought.

Game thoughts.. Celtics need to loose more, so hopefully BK takes this.

KG at the 4 is risky. I highly doubt he can keep up with the younger forwards at this stage. He is more efficient as a 5 than a 4. If and when Brook comes back, it's going to be very difficult integrating him into all of this. Plumlee is athletic but we need big bodies coming off the bench as well. All we have left is Blatch, Plumlee, and KG for the year.

Part of our problem at the beginning of the year was that we were terrible defensively with KG at the four. He just isn't mobile enough to guard the faster PF's in the league anymore. If you want to get bigger than I would rather sstart Kirilenko at the four and leave KG at the five. But I don't anticipate Kidd changing the lineup that has been working since new year.

Definitely agree w/ Brook lol. That's gonna be an issue next year, but I think KG is gone next year.

Essentially, plumlee would take the 4 man in a sense. Like kg take the slow paint man & let plumlee run around & use his athletic ability. Let MP run with theyounger forwards. Definitely athletic enough for it.

& don't forget Collins!! Between AK, Blatche, Collin & Mirza, you guys have enough size no? Idk I'm just iffy on BK advancing in the playoffs w/ PP at the 4.

I don't think KG retiring is definitive. He did get the Nets to fully pay his 12 million next year. I know he made enough money in his career but it still happened. Also, KG coming back will depend on the moves made in the off season. I still get the feeling they feel that they have enough talent to compete for a ring this year and that he may want to give one more run next season pending acquisitions. Pierce also hinted he wanted to play 1 or 2 more seasons and firmly believe he'll be back. I highly doubt the Nets will let him walk away, especially with bird rights. I think the Nets are gonna try and make another splash this offseason. If they satisfy them by bringing in another star player, you better believe they are going to try and go for another run. Plus, it's not like this year is finished, anything can happen in this league

Dude, you implying that either of us are rooting for the team to lose is stupid and so far removed from the truth, no one is rooting for the Nets to lose and nothing that has been said even supports that nonsense. And I'm not sure who you're talking about because I'm not spamming game threads and most of my comments are geared towards wanting to see the team succeed.

But yes, let's move on, because you know you're completely wrong and dishonest with that ridiculous take.
