Hey!

Since the existing Joe Johnson page on FB has been dead for several years, I decided to make my own!

It's updated several times a week with stats, news etc regarding mostly Joe, but also the Nets in general. I would appreciate a few likes to get it going

I don't think he has a lot of fans ANYWHERE.. but I'm one

Joe Johnson catches a lot of flack on these boards. You won't find many fans here. I am a Joe fan, but there are times when he pisses me off too. He is a whipping boy for some DWill fans who like to point out Joe's struggles to help excuse DWill's. I think most people would like to see great fire/passion from him, myself included.

Outside of February, where he was struggling with Tendonitis, he has had a very good season. And if he's been disappointing outside of that month to any posters than expectations were too high for him. I pointed out earlier that I thought he was just as deserving as Derozan for an All Star bid. He was shooting more efficiently, turning the ball over almost half as frequently, and I believe playing better defense. Lowry deserved it more than him for sure. But he's been a top 5 shooting guard in the East.
Also he has picked it up again this month. 18.6 ppg, 3.6 apg, on 53/46.5 shooting over the last 5 plus contributing on defense. This is the play we need out of our backcourt and why we've been playing better as of late. I hope DWill and Joe can keep it up.

I'd like to see more emotion from him too, but that's never been him and it doesn't mean he doesn't care.
I agree that he's been very solid throughout this season. He's fully accepted a lesser role and plays very unselfishly, for a proven scorer.

Only time I'm a fan of Joe is when there's 5 secs left on the clock, we're down 2 and the ball is in his hands.
