again, dont get how cousins is nominated over all these other guys, but then the guys who nominated him vote for other players instead?

Look back to see how many people nominated Cousins when he was selected into the nomination pool.

Then look at how many votes he's getting every round. If he's not #1 in votes (not nominees) for that round, he doesn't get placed in that slot.

Also, you need to take into consideration the fact that a lot of people will nominate someone who they believe should be in the conversation for the next few picks, but it doesn't mean that they're going to vote for the player they nominated in the next round. It's just a numbers game.
