Jessica Gomes is gorgeous, but that's not a great photo of her.

Lmao. Look at that gif of Lebron. He goes up to Mirza, grabs his boys so they hold him back & then he goes at Mirza. I can't with him.
Let's go BK! Upset here.

Classic fake "hold me back" tough guy. Mirza would wreck Lebron.
As for this game... ehhh I don't know if we have much of a shot. KG is out, Kirilenko is doubtful and we'll be on the road vs one of the true contenders in the league. All I'm asking for is a close game.

Not expecting a win, but expecting the same effort we saw last night.

Yes!, continue with the " I think this will be a loss" so far this team doesn't lose when half the first page says that.

Hey exculpatory, I think you'll like this:
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/66645/the-truth-about-itThe video shows how good Pierce has been defensively for us since sliding over to PF. I think a bigger reason for the turnaround has been KG's defense at C, but Pierce has been quite good at defending PFs.

Thanks so much! Great stuff. Paul has indeed excelled on both ends as PF. (Nonetheless, there are some PFs that he should not guard. Wish Nets had more depth.)
OT - This is strange. A few months ago, withOUT looking at the Nets schedule beforehand, I made reservations 1) to ski in CO (Nets played the Nuggets while I was there, but I didn't 't go); 2) for beach time in Miami (Nets play the Heat tonight, I am here in Miami right now, but will not go); 3) to return home to the DC area on Friday (I do have first row tickets VS the Wiz on Saturday); & 4) to visit my 2 daughters in BK (I do have have first row tickets VS the Suns on Monday at Barclays). TOTALLY unintentionally, my itinerary ended up matching the team's itinerary. I could have seen 4 games in person in 4 different cities - & will see 2 games in 2 different cities. Uncanny!

Gonna be a tough matchup as Miami plays a similar style but MUCH better than we do. The Nets have to come out swarming them on defense and slow the Heat offense down. Prevent any cuts or drives to the basket and play tough transition defense.
Make life difficult for LeBron and the rest of of his teammates will probably come up flat.

I think the key matchup will be at PF. PP vs Battier. Battier is a very tough defender and Pierce does not have to worry about banging with such a huge body down low. Of course, if Miami flips LeBron at PF tonight, then it becomes a different matchup altogether.

Kidd said KG is out until after Monday atleast.
AK hopes to play tonight.

I think having AK tonight is more important than KG. AK represents our best chance of slowing down Lebron/getting in his head.
It is troubling that KG is having these issues though. I also think Plumlee athleticism and energy could help us. Hopefully, he's active on the offensive glass and boxing out on defense.

AK47 guarding Lebron is REALLY important. I don't think we'll get away with throwing Livingston on him for long periods of time. Not comforting to hear that Pierce/JJ may be the best options on the team for defending LBJ.

just make lebron shoot jumpers and take your chances with that. it kind of puts him in a lull and he isnt as agressive. i mean the spurs had diaw on him at times

If no Kirilenko tonight, it's going to be a long night.
I would start Anderson over Livingston tonight and let Anderson get physical with Lebron to start the game. If AA gets in foul trouble early or can't slow down Lebron, put Livingston out there.
