That said, we want Haren to go for 50 tomorrow & beat the Raps!

There isn't a team in the league I want to see get blown out more than the Knicks. They haven't even bothered me this year, because they've sucked too badly for me to even care about them, but I just hate them.

Melo's going to get his (but we can make things difficult for him with Pierce, Johnson, Anderson, and maybe Kirilenko if he comes back for this game), but as long as Plumlee/Blatche pay attention to Chandler and deny him offensive rebounds and easy lob opportunities, I'm not that worried about this game at all. There's a reason they're 31-43 in a pathetic Eastern Conference, while trying as hard as they can to win games as opposed to most of the other lottery-bound teams in the league...it's because they suck.

This is a must win game. If the Raps lose tomorrow to Houston, we could be a half game behind for the Division and they play Indy on Friday. Most likely both games without Lowry. So, aside from wanting to completely embarrass that clown show called the Knicks...This is a pretty big game overall if we want the 3 seed this is our last chance.

1. Ball movement - I haven't watched too many recent Knicks game, but I was watching them more earlier. But all the switching on defense they do coupled with low basketball iq and effort will lead to open shots. We saw this MLK Day, got a ton of open looks.

2. Attack the mismatches. This was a huge reason we won last night, we consistently attacked Haren - a defensive liability. We will have mismatches all game long and players need to be aggressive to capitalize on them. These players should look to attack anytime they get this matchup:

Pierce - Stat on him
Johnson/S Dot - anytime JR Spliff is on them
DWill - Felon on him

DWill should have an attacking mentality all game long. Felon routinely lets opposing point guards go off DWill should be no different.

for some reason williams hasnt had a ton of success vs felton and felton seems to really get up to play dwill. not sure if there is a riff there or whatever but id love to see dwill abuse him.

for this game, really all we need to do is defend the 1-5 pnr and not let chandler catch lob dunks all game and offensively dont settle for jump shots... ESPECIALLY WITH THE LEAD. we take WAY too many 3s when we have big leads.

i hope we beat them so badly that they lose all motivation and miss out on the playoffs and the denver somehow end up with a high pick

I hope we blow out that pathetic team.

I feel the best possible situation for tonight is, we destroy the Knucks, the Raps lose to the Rockets and honestly the Bulls win.

That way we move closer to the raptors and possibly getting the Atlantic and keep the bulls farther away from us which would be the best of both worlds.

I kinda like the fact they're talking about how much they want to win this game. PJC last year would downplay the important of certain games and we'd play like it. I remember there was a point where we were mathematically tied with the Knicks and had the chance to take the division lead and he completely downplayed a huge, huge game.

I feel like Pierce is bringing us this mentality. Yeah, they're the terrible Knicks and it's the 2nd game of a back-to-back late in the season AND yes we try hard every game but let's get up a little extra for this one. No let downs.

i dont see how this is a trap game. its a game we have had circled on our calanders that means a ton to the players
