Playoff Dates

Hi! I'm an italian guy, i'll be in NYC from April 26 to May 3 and I would like to attend a playoff match.
From what I see, the Nets will start the series away (against Chicago or Toronto), so I was planning to book tickets for home game 2.
Do you know the date for this game? I'd like to be sure it will be during my period in NYC...
I know official schedule will be out on April 17, but i'm scared to loose the chance to buy cheap tickets if I don't book as soon as possibile...
Thank you very much!

If you call a professional basketball game a "match", you are not allowed to purchase a ticket.

You may want to check the Nets' official website, I have no idea what dates we'll be playing at home thus far

It's tough to speculate:
First game in Chicago or Toronto will be either this Saturday or Sunday, the 19th-20th.
So second game will be at earliest Monday the 21st and latest the 23rd.
So the series will be in Brooklyn at earliest Thursday the 24th - Saturday 26th I'm guessing. So 2nd game should fall in that date range.
Tickets will likely go up once it's announced but drop right before the game on stubhub. Or that's what happened lat year at least. I bought right after the schedule was announced and the prices dropped after I bought them which sucked. But I mean Game 1 was so awesome last year that I didn't care

Thank you very much!
I just bought the tickets through the site ticketmaster (even if the schedule has not been announced yet) hoping that home Game 2 will be on 26th or after, and your post gave me hope!

No problem yea you should be fine. Best guess would be the game will be the 26th or 27th. I would think a day rest between the first two games. Then usually two days- for travel reasons when the series comes to Brooklyn and then a day between game 3-4. So you're looking at either the 26th or 27th depending on whether the series begins on Saturday or Sunday. Better be cheering for the Nets!

Reading the title and this part made me think you were on here looking for a date to go with you haha.

European terminology for sports games.
