To All Trolls,

The amount of you that jerseyjac and I had to deal with this season was absolutely pathetic and we are sick of you. Be aware that your antics will not be tolerated and will be met with accordingly:

1.) A ban, ranging from 12 hours to an outright permanent one, depending on your record on RealGM
2.) A deletion of said troll posts on this board

Don't bother using a duplicate account either as that will be banned along with your regular account as well. Don't troll and use common sense.

KG: "I don't know how you can say F*** Brooklyn and then come to Brooklyn"

I hope we put on a similar performance we did last season for the first home game.

KG was encouraging tonight, i thought he was great, i still can't believe Kidd only played him 19 minutes.

What adjustments are you expecting/hoping for in Game 3? I'm sure the Landry Fields strategy will be tested, which may be difficult given how little footage there is of him playing haha.

I don't know how we will stop these turnovers. Your team has a lot of skilled defenders.

Playing Deron, JJ, Livingston, Pierce 37-40 minutes and KG 27 minutes is all that needs to be done but Kidd won't do it. He's resting our guys for the off-season.

Toronto is a good road team, can't discount that. And they have beaten us on our home court before. We obviously need better performances out of Deron and Pierce in game 3. But then again, Lowry and Ross played like crap too.

I think it comes down to how much time we're willing to play KG. He was great in game 2. 5/6 from the field, 13/4 in 19 minutes. LOL, 19 minutes, can't believe that's all he played.

Realistically (because you know Kidd isn't going to change the minutes, he's a stubborn douche), we need to tighten up the defense. Like KG said, giving up 36 points in the 4th quarter is way too much. Plumlee, Mirza, and Blatche need to step up in that regard, we were getting manhandled on the glass. And we can't let Derozan go off for 30 points again. I don't think Derozan is as bad as he was in game 1, but I also don't think he's as good as he was in game 2. He's somewhere in between. However, we were also bailed out by the fact that Lowry and Ross had off-nights. Then again, so did Deron and Pierce.

So for me, winning this game is going to come down to:

-slowing down Derozan better than we did in game 2
-which duo plays better: Lowry/Ross or Deron/Pierce

Won't mean anything if we lose a 4 point game in which KG plays 12 minutes, though.

I'm not even pissed about the game, going home 1-1 is nothing to sniff at and the effort was there again tonight, but i'm super pissed about Kidd actually playing KG 20 minutes a game in the playoffs, this is some moronic decision, we rested the guy the whole regular season so he could play bigger minutes in the playoffs, and that's what he does.

Do you guys think he is playing KG ridiculously low mins for this series so that if we get to the 2nd round, he is going to go all out on KG playing him 35 min per game against Miami?

I think he played KG only 19 because he thought Paul could and the other guys could seal it up down the stretch. We had the chance and sometimes you lose it like we did, the last game could've been ours with only a slight change in plays.

I say he plays KG more in game 3 as he has his flow back and we look to shut them down at home.

2 key wins at home will send a clear message that we are not to be **** with.

I mean let's be honest, it sucks that we lost but it's not like we got our asses handed to us last game. Everytime we went down we fought back up with ease.

I just don't see raptors being much more of. Threat down the stretch of this series

^ Umm, it's been a pretty close series so I'm not sure how you can say that.

While the games have been close, and could've went either way, i agree that jason kidd has been a moron. Keep an eight man rotation in the playoffs, maximize your best players minutes. Thats how you keep a team on the ropes. Putting in alan anderson is unacceptable if you actually want to win games.

The funny thing is that when asked what can be done to address the rebounding disparity, he said box out (which is certainly true).

However, rebounding has been an issue for this entire team especially since we went to the small ball lineup. The Knicks had a small ball lineup last year and the main reason why they weren't near the bottom of the barrel in rebounding is because Melo was a beast on the boards.

Pierce is no Melo when it comes to attacking the boards.

All season we've been complaining about this team's inability to rebound. It just astounding that at this level these guys will just stick out their hands and expect the ball to come to them instead of boxing out and taking the ball for themselves.

Boxing out is something that should've been emphasized in the beginning of the season and re-emphasized continually throughout the season because we've always sucked at it.

It's a little late to be saying "Hey, maybe we should box out now."

Basically.

This is exactly what I worried about before the series and Kidd's horrible decision making is costing us. I'm not going to say we would've definitely won the game but you give yourself a much greater chance to win when you're rolling an all-bench lineup to start FOURTH QTRs IN THE PLAYOFFS.
