Poll: Who to move given a resurgence?

Hypothetically speaking... (it's summer still, and I'm bored

)
Let's say we start the season with a bang, and everything is clicking. We are floating around being in the top of the East and it's January. Deron Williams and Brook Lopez are both locks to be All Stars. Williams is back to his old form, crossing guys up and attacking the rim, averaging something like 20/8. Lopez is having a fantastic season too under Hollins, nailing those long jumpers and improved his rebounding, and is also averaging something like 20/8.
Given their history, which guy would you rather move before the trade deadline? Deron, who has his ankle/diva/quitter issues, or Brook who has his foot surgery issues?
Again this is just hypothetical. I'm not necessarily talking about the return package we would get, whether it be picks or players or whatever. Both are max guys that don't seem to be a fit for making an elite team. But if both were playing at All Star levels with no signs of injury or slowing down, who would you rather see go and why? Or would you want to keep them and ride out the success?

Williams, without hesitation.

Is that basically b/c of the Diva/Ankle/Quitter problems >> Reoccurring foot issues/surgeries?
I'm also on the train that would like to keep Lopez, more so b/c finding a skilled bigman is much harder than a PG these days. We could save so much at the PG position by getting an average player and keeping Brook.

I'd keep them and let them run the course of their contracts. Williams deal becomes a bit problematic if he opts in and the end of next year (and given his recent play I'd assume he does), but Lopez's contract is not problematic at all, it runs this year with a player option for next year...

Williams is bad salary on our books for 2016.
I'd rather keep Brook. At least he has an excuse. Deron has been a pussy and a cancer within this franchise, ankles or no ankles, and he's the worst contract in the league.

Shout out to Gordon Hayward.

Deron, easily, his contract runs longer and is a killer in 16-17. Lopez is gone after next season, and isnt nearly the burden. Although, i guess an argument can be made that with mason, Brook is more expedable.

Hayward is better, younger, healthier and makes less. not sure how he is a worse contract?

I give up... I've reserve you a seat on the Williams bandwagon when the season plays out, but it needs to be said that the level of negativity surrounding him right now is unreal...

i dont see how its negativity. outside of a 2.5 month stretch the first year in brooklyn williams has been an average player who gives low effort and struggles with injuries and confidence. it is what it is. the idea that the guy is still some 20/10 player is ludacris.

Last time I checked, Hayward wasn't a fat bitch that whines, pouts, and flat out quits.
Deron is a loser, a fatty, and a quitter on a max deal.

Deron easily. Brook is still only 25 and his deal is way more favorable to our plans than Deron making 23 Million in 2016.

keep deron and see if he gets back to form until his contract runs out, if he impresses again, keep him since still young, if stinks, let him go or trade

We couldn't trade him for a bag of balls that you'd find laying in a garbage dump outside of a vet's office after a full day of neutering appointment.

I've been very disappointed in Deron. Therefore, I have to agree with the consensuses to move him first and foremost if the opportunity presented itself. Sadly, it doesn't pain me to say such a thing anymore.
If he can bounce back next season while digging deep to find his inner self, returning to the all star caliber PG he once was, it would truly be beneficial to the rest of the team and there would be no need to move him. HOWEVER, the odds of that happening I believe are very slim in my most humble opinion.

I like Lopez better then DWill but it has to be Lopez.
DWill has a good chance of a bounce back year. Even with two bad ankles he wasnt that bad. He couldnt drive at all last year but was still effective as a shooter.
Lopez is not worth the injury risk. That foot is a ticking time bomb. We have a good replacement for him anyway in Plumlee who is on a cheaper contract and plays a more team oriented game.

Lopez's contract is a moot point because it will expire soon. D-Will on the other hand...

D-Will for all the above-mentioned reasons...

Deron for obvious reasons.
Older, longer and bigger contract in terms of money owed, etc.

how is deron still young? he would be 33 when his contract ended and is 30+ right now
