Hollings needs to make a statement and bench Jack and Plumlee for at least this game. Imagine what this is doing to the bench squad that is getting zero minutes right now ( AK, Karasev, Jordan and Gutierrez in particular ) and they see these 2 fools getting all the minutes and doing absolutely nothing positive. This can't be good for the team chemistry.
I'm fearing for a blowout loss for tonight but I am holding on to the thought that you never know with these nets (remember the OKC game last year that turned the season around)

These Raptors fans are the worst - cant wait for the Bulls to knock them back down to earth tonight.
Out first meeting with the Warriors last year was one of the pivotal games last year IMO. It was the 4th game in 2014 and there were questions about how legit our 1st 3 wins in 2014 were - we had needed late game heroics from joe to beat the Thunder without Westbrook, we had beat the lottery bound Cavs, and a banged up Hawks team. The Warriors were the hottest team in the league coming into Barclays having won 8-10 straight I believe and I believe we're poised to break a record for best record on a roadtrip. Everyone had written off out chance to win- and we pulled it out. Later we dropped one to them when they were banged up and without guys and Dwill and Joe were horrible.
Hopefully we can repeat what happened the 1st time by winning a game no one thinks we're capable of winning.

I'm not confident at all after last night's embarrassing display. We can't defend for ****.

why are we benching mason? he was no worse then KG or Brook last night.
what has guitierrez or brown or karasev of AK done to earn minutes. its 7 games in. And really this was our first real game this year vs. a team that isnt terrible. Hollins needs to see who he can trust in real games. benching those guys is extreme, espcially since they are role guys suceptible to inconsistent play.

i dont know what the score will be, but i cant see us winning any of the next 3 games with out 10 times the effort we have been playing with.

Lolz at raptors fans.... STILL salty about us owning them.
like seriously you are what 7-1 yet you need to come into a nets game thread against a western conference team and post some trollish stuff.
comical. you guys will again finish with a better record, and again if we face you in the playoffs it wont matter.
America > whatever country canadia is in

Not really sure what to expect from this team right now... kind of just need to see how they respond.
-Joe Called the team out and the team played Elite ball for 1.5 quarter then resorted to doing all the things joe called them out for. Not showing much backbone or resiliency there.
-Hollins approach seemed very inconsistent with prior games. he seemed to take a bystanders approach, just kind of watching and letting things play out. didnt really use timeouts or correct things with subtitutions. I'm convinced that he wanted to see if guys could play through and turn around poor play or if they'd continue to implode. the suns were our first real opponent this year, and it was our first real road test... i think he was taking stock of who he can and cant count on. if thats the case, im fine with it.
We need more from lopez if he is going to be on the floor for 30 minutes. i can live with a slow return, lesser results, but he gave us nothing in the second half... not like he played poor, he literally gave us nothing. 0 points and 0 resistance defensively. KG was awful too. our bigs need to at least match theirs tonite.
If were gonna win we need to defend alot better. and we need all 3 of dwill/jj/lopez to play well

I'm very split on how I feel going into this game tonight.
We totally fell apart at the end last night, but Hollins has shown that he knows how to respond when the team makes large faults like we did... plus our guys got all the rest they needed getting fully thrashed in the second half last night.
As I thought from the start of this road trip, this team when playing the style of ball we saw in the first half of last night, can beat most... the real question is if we can find that energy and quality play and keep it up for 4 quarters.
This is our first nationally televised game and we have a chance to show people that we are a quality team. I imagine Hollins giving no-one a break since we dont deserve it at all.
They turn the ball over a lot and we have done well to really capitalize on turnovers so far in the season. We need top level play from Brook, DWill and Joe like always... but I think the key to this game relies on the rest of the players; Bogs, Mirza, Jack, KG, Alan, and Plum. If we can get constant high quality play by them, we wont lose the tempo like we did last night.
Brook needs to get his energy up and help us lock down the paint. Bogs' confidence is really picking up which is great for us since they wont be expecting big plays from him. Mirza has to be ready to body up on D and then run and gun his fire 3's. KG has to keep his defensive presence he's had this season.
Overall, we can win this... it wont be easy, but a win here means more than any game we've played so far this season.

I fully expect the Nets to embarrass themselves on National TV after that nonsense I saw last night. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Will be happy with a competitve loss. Warriors are far better than most if not all teams in the east.

I have a feeling this could be ugly.
Second night of a B2B (wonder how much KG plays)
Warriors coming off a tough home loss to SA
A quick team that can shoot
Our defense needs to be big tonight which is not likely.
Our bigs need to protect the rim tonight as our guards are likely to get burned trying to stop the three. This could be a game to give Plumlee big minutes and maybe some for Jordan. I'd also like to see less Jack and some Gutz or more AK. We need another guard as Jack and Anderson are being played too much.

The Warriors lead the league in turnovers. Hopefully, we can exploit them there.
