Most of us called how bad the majority of our moves have been since the Brooklyn thing. We whiffed on the BK arrival. It's been embarrassing, blueprint for greatness etc. so it's now just a waiting game until the new owner/gm/etc. This is not a fun era.

Unless we totally botch the 2016 free agent class, Proky isn't going anywhere.

No stars are going to want to come here, and we're going to have to overpay some average player a ridiculous amount of money to come here... and the cycle will repeat.

If you really feel like you're going to have to "wait it out", you might as well look around for a new franchise to follow. Part of being a fan is having fun and enjoying the product the franchise puts out for you. You should enjoy sports, not let it frustrate you. I have no issue with fans parting ways with their team if they want to.

we need to move lopez and/or dwill. thats just a combination that has failed. neither are good enough to carry a team, and neither excel as role players. Johnson i thnk at least still has valuea s a 2nd or 3rd option. Lopezi think is useless if he isnt the #1 option. dwill isnt as effective as a second or third fiddle.

and neither guy is a 2 way player.

id love to mvoe one for kobe, at least have an alpha who is insanely competitive here for a year ro two before we reboot.

The problem is we don't own any of our own picks till 2019... Can't even rebuild...

can we at least give theres guys 20 games before giving up on them? this is a team with a 2nd round ceiling under a new coach, a slow start should've been expected

Honestly the fact that this team is located in Brooklyn definitely gives it some hope to snag some FA. Afterall, BK is apart of NY. So there's definitely the big market appeal of New York. However BK hasn't been the laughing stock of the NBA for the last 40 years like my Knicks have been. So as long as they continue to be a playoff team (which is setting the bar really low in the East) the Nets will definitely snag someone in 2016. They don't have that air of hope rotting away that the Knicks do.

and we're getting older, slower, injureder, and with less assets

nobody will trade you much for lopez and not sure the most you can get for dwill with his contract
