Can Lopez and Plumlee become our Gasol and Noah

obviously Lopez and Plumlee aren't quite the passers that Gasol and Noah are but passing is a skill that can be improved upon.

Plumlee in my opinion has the physcial tools and the IQ to eventually develop into a Joakim Noah level type of Big man

Lopez and Gasol are both big men that can score from all over the court but are not quick on their feet.

what do you guys think?

I think the answer is a pretty emphatic "No"

The better question is, can the two of them play together at all? Plumlee at the 4 is out of position, he pairs much better with KG at PF or with Mirza. Plumlee is the opposite of a slow footed bigman. he is quick, athletic, and gets up and down the floor.

As far as lopez, it's his 7th year and he still cant pass out of double teams and really isnt a willing passer in general. asking him to approaching anything near the courtvision, bbiq, or even the williness to pass like a gasol or noah seems well beyond wishful thinking.

For me, I'd be happy if they can be on the court together and come close to nuetral value, or even not a massive negative.

None of our big men are really a good comparison to Gasol...Lopez isn't near the passer that Gasol is, and Gasol is a better defender too. KG at this point isn't anywhere close to the offensive threat that Gasol is.

Plumlee is a pure athlete without much skill...that doesn't describe either of the Bulls' big men.

I don't really see the comparison, personally. I think KG and Noah are very similar, but again, nobody on our team is like Gasol.

But, of course, they'd be "our Gasol and Noah" and not the real Gasol and Noah.

No. Both are better players.

But that doesn't mean that we don't match up well.
