Let's go Nets!
I'll only be able to watch a few minutes of this game.

That last foul on Plumlee was on JJ, that was a bad gamble that put Plumlee in a bad position.

Plumlee isn't a good enough defender to matchup with Vucevic. As soon as KG switched with Plumlee on the defensive assignment, Vuc wasn't really able to do much except hit that tough off-balance shot (which you can live with if you're the Nets).
But now KG sits and Brook is playing alongside Plumlee who already has two ticky-tack fouls. I hope the interior defense can hold over until KG comes back because Plumlee and Lopez have already missed defensive assignments and missed an easy rebound within the first 30 seconds they were on the floor together.

ORL is sinking back on D and leaving an extra man in the paint on the PnRs with Plumlee so that when Plumlee rolls, he can't dive straight to the rim.
Let's see if Plumlee can find another way to contribute, since the action off the PnR is what has allowed Plumlee to be effective during his great play.

Brook's played quite well so far.
Good rebounds and tip outs with effective box outs. Nice outside shot to keep the defense honest so they can't just camp out in the paint.

Even though he got beat on the PnR by the ballhandler, that was a good recovery by Lopez to block the shot at the rim. Good stuff...

Channing Frye is determined to be the bane of the Nets' existence. He always lights us up.

I don't think it's a coincidence that as soon as Brook comes in, JJ becomes invisible. Those two can't seem to get it going together.

Really like how Mirza is playing this game. He knows his shot is off, so he's making a concerted effort to take it more towards the rim and get some easy shots, and it's working.

Love the way the team is playing. It's not about making shots or being great all the time. The team is executing, playing aggressively, getting into the offense early. Getting good shots. All I can really ask for.

That's more on JJ though. He has always seemed to have some sort of problem playing next to Brook.NyCeEvO wrote:I don't think it's a coincidence that as soon as Brook comes in, JJ becomes invisible. Those two can't seem to get it going together.

With Deron and Brook coming off the bench we've resolved our 2nd quarter/bench woes. We arguably have the best bench in the league now.

Looks like Lopez and Dwills injury were a blessing in disguise... this rotation is doing the business right now and we look a completely different team than a couple of weeks ago... long it may continue
