Blatche!

Post#1 » by Shook Jones » Sun Jan 11, 2015 9:25 pm

On twitter Blatche said he would come back to BKN.

Next season I think he should be the starting pf. Let Mirza go and give Blatche and another player the KG/Mirza money. If they can move Lopez or Dwill for young players that will offset the swapping of our pick. Resign Jordan if possible as backup C he's a good active big I like that guy.

Blatche loves BKN and has a fire in his belly and is exciting to watch, maybe being out of the Nba once again will focus him. He has a rare set of skills for a big, he can dribble, fade away, post up and rebound.

Take a chance on Lance and Blatche, next season would be interesting as hell.

Do not resign Mirza let him go to the spurs and get a ring.

I'd definitely take Blatche over Mirza at this point, but I don't think he wouldn't solve the majority of our problems.

we should take Blatche on now. Whether he's starting or coming off the bench, we should take him. It will make moving Mirza and Brook much easier.

Oh god no. I get that Blatche has talent, and he probably is a much better player than Mirza at this point...but I don't think I can stand watching his lazy, selfish, low IQ play. I don't understand what people see in Blatche. Everything we complain about with our current team...Blatche is all of that in one player.

Same things you say about Blatche people said about Zbo. Hollins turned Zbo into a franchise player.

He was definitely frustrating at times last season but beggars can't be choosers. Losing his production off the bench is a large part to our bad scoring efficiency.

We will lose KG to retirement, Mirza will be overpaid by someone and Lopez will most likely be traded. What other options do you have?

At this point I'd be interested to see how Blatche would play out with this team. His insanity might be curbed a bit by Hollins and thus provide a much needed punch

I'll take Blatche's dumb ass over any of the Euro players that have been mandated to be on this team. At least I know for a fact that when he's in shape, he can play.

no racist of xenophobe or whatever but we have 3 euro dudes who are pets of the Russians and none of them outside of Karasev is worth a hot damn.

Blatche is better than both Mirza and Bojan.

If I said the following statement on the Nets official mouthpiece blog, I'd be banned by Wolf Blizter's clone Bob Windrem!!!

Losing Blatche and Livingston is why this team has gone to sht.

Blatche drunk is better then Mirza at his best. Lets get him back. ASAP.

I can see it already. Nets will hang around the 6th-7th seed. Lance will be stretched and signs with the Nets for the vet min. Blatche comes back from China in April and resigns with us.

We go into the playoffs with

Plumlee - Lopez - Jordan
Garnett - Blatche - Mirza
Johnson - Bogs
Lance - Karasev
Jack - DWill

This team would be a pain in the azz for any of the high seeds. This would save the season IMO.

SMH. Is this even in question? Mirza has been bust and will always be a bust

If this actually could happen, I'd feel like we have a team to root for. Hell, just Lance alone would give me a renewed energy for this team. More and more in hindsight I miss Blatche, he had a place and a purpose here

That is the most hopeful and optimistic thinking ever.... but I HIGHLY doubt that would happen.

I think Lopez for Lance has to happen first. And then we sign Blatche for a 10 day contract, and then to rest of year. And we probably have to keep Mirza off the bench.

And where is Alan Anderson in that mix? He's Hollin's boy!! He's getting 20 mins a night no matter what!

I dont think this is that far fetched. No need to trade for Lance. He has had a "groin injury" for about a month now. It appears that he has played his last game in Charlotte. I think they will use their stretch option on him and cut him ala Josh Smith. No team is going to pick him up for his contract so its virtually certain that he will clear waivers. If he does clear waivers I feel very strongly that he will sign with the Nets.

there is 0 chance of blatche coming back. whatever he did behinds the scenes was so bad that we wouldnt consider it. that wont change, and he isnt going to help 3 points shooting or our SG issues.

If he did come back it wouldnt be this season, unless for a playoff run.

Blatche must have done something horrible because no one has come within 5 feet of the dude since last season ended.

From what I can gather he hung around a horrible group of people and that sex assault issue combined with coming to practice drunk numerous times caused issues.

Meanwhile Karasev is taking strippers back to the hotel at 5 in the morning on game night.

Im not naive to think that most NBA players arent egotistical azzholes. I dont care though. Blatche has talent and is worth the risk since he is STILL being paid by Washington.

We desperately need a PF and Blatche can provide both stretch shooting as well as post up ability. He causes a miss match from a lot of different positions. I dont see any better options.

At this point, I'll take Blatche over the half-hearted bunch of overpays that we have...
