Seems everyone says every game will be a blowout on here.

I'm kind of looking forward to this one.
With no Dwight, Lopez has to take advantage.
Brown needs to be tested and put on Harden
We need to defend the 3 much better and not get into a 3 point shoot out.

I'm guessing we lose, but I don't think it will be a blow out. (under 20)

Well, anytime we play a good team out west on the road we usually get curb stomped pretty bad... and the rockets always blow us out. I dont think missing dwight really matters much. they still have size and soem solid bigs to more then make up for it. Dwight was a complete non factor when we played them earlier in the year and we sill got crushed.

also, this is going to be an uptempo game... i think it suits plumlee more, he had like 26/10 last time, i think it suits him more.

i just dont see how we win. they are better then us in basically every area, they are playing extremely well, and harden has been going HAM. meanwhile we have looked pretty bad vs good teams all year.

i like us to beat the lakers of the world, but a win tonite seems really unrealsitic

You'd think that right?

There's no size advantage when Lopez camps out behind the FT line. I'm sick and tired of it... the guy refuses to attack the boards with or without the ball....

We need a big game from him but i'm not holding my breathe anymore...

This is a game that moe suits Plumlee. Maybe we run a Plumlee and Lopez line up and try and body up and use our size.
Brown has the chance to use his speed and athleticism to play some sort of D on harden.

This is a game where we need Joe to go Jesus mode to have any chance.
They have lots of injuries so we have a small chance to get something going

unless, dwill joe or brook go for 30+ we honestly dont have a chance.

have we even had a 30 point game from anyone since dwill did it vs the knicks in like the 7th game of the year?

I don't remember the last time that we've even had a competitive game against Houston, especially since we've moved to BK.

This will be a classic Friday night "mail it in". At least Joe will get rested once the lead becomes insurmountable.

I don't know, it'll be hard... But a 12/15 game from Dwill, 25/5 from Joe and 20/10 from Brook or Plumlee, could put us in a position to win.

It's asking a lot, but just maybe

I think the biggest thing today is defend the 3 ball. They won't stop Harden, but make him drive and work for his points. Every 3 pointer needs to be contested on defense.

its not that simple. we dont defend the 3 because we cant defend the pick and roll. our wings needs to help off the perimeter on that rolling big or we give up constant layups. that leaves wide open 3s. "gaurding the 3 better" likely means mroe wide open layups.

and in the case of Harden, he'll turn that lay-up into and-ones in a moment so it becmes moot. Really, we need to just have a body on Harden to make him work a bit harder, but we're not shutting down Harden we need to focus on everyone else. let Harden get his 30, it'll happen to matter what

Win or lose, I just want this team to show a level of consistency with the game plan. I'd have more hope for this game if we didn't do such a terrible job of defending the three point line against the Pelicans.

Looking forward to more Markelavation.
