Dallas is so up and down you never know what team will show up. Either way, Brooklyn needs to find a way to get a win and finish a game on this road trip.
Nets win by 5.

Pretty boy Parsons broke a nail so he's been out a few games. Your former legend, Richard Jefferson starts at SF and he's been pretty good shooting the 3. Aminu comes off the bench. An energy guy who flies around the court rebounding and blocking shots - one of the better stories of the Mavs season. A guy who plays defense - a rare breed in Dallas.
Rondo vs Deron in a battle of the has beens. Rondo is coming off his suspension... so it definitely will be very interesting to see how he reacts. The guy has been a total liability on offense because of his inability to shoot(+passing up wide open looks) and being afraid of contact and going to the foul line - all this makes him try complicated passes, kill the spacing and turnovers. Hard to watch. As soon as Harris comes in, it always feels like everything explodes.
The Mavs have had a few injuries lately(Tyson Chandler is questionable), so that has prevented the team to really gel, but they've shown good glimpses this month, especially rebounding, which is the biggest handicap this team has. If Chandler can't go, you'll have Thad Young and Lopez going up against guys like Villanueva and Amare. Plumlee with the chance of bullying Bernard James. But the only way I can see the Nets winning it is if your perimeter guys are hitting threes, otherwise the Mavs should be able to control this game.

Rondo is overrated and I think he will be out of Dallas after this season. A team like the Knicks will probably overpay for him. Rondo has no jump shot whatsoever, not even a mid-range. He's also shooting around 30% from the FT line, that's pathetic for a PG. Not to mention the headache he brings to the locker room with his ego.

Dallas would be the 2 seed in the east right now, lol.
2 games up on Toronto.

I would LOVE to face Toronto again. Looks like it won't happen, though.

I wouldn't, not with Hollins running this half assed small ball line up.

The small lineup is working. We basically beat the Raptors with a similar lineup.

Markel is going to be a very good defender

JJ backs his man down until he was in the middle of the paint and about 4 feet away, but instead of just finishing the job and going for a layup he passes out of the paint to Brook.
Cmon Joe...

For as many questionable decisions Anderson makes, he's probably most the decisive player on the team. He's gonna try to finish whether the contact comes or not.

Why do we run so many plays for Anderson and Plumlee though? If there are two players on this roster that should be limited to one thing on the offensive end (Anderson corner threes and Plumlee to catch and dunk) is those two.

Jack is such a pathetic defender

TBH, I really don't think we run plays all that often.
If we do, D-Will seems to be the only one who knows them because when anyone else handles the ball, any and all action is generated off the PnRs and just passing around the perimeter.
While I haven't watched a ton of Nets games this season that backdoor cut by AA(?) and pass from D-Will was the first one I can remember happening since the first two games. Our offense is that pitiful.

AA needs to chill out with fouls like that. We have no other depth behind him and Markel

It happens more than it should. I don't remember Mason posting up multiple times in a game last season. It's become a regular occurrence. Anderson is most effective when he catches and shoots. He's also capable of slashing and getting the pass for easy scores... but those are rare. If you look back at the worst Anderson games it's when he handles the ball and tries to do too much with results in comedic turnovers. He shouldn't be handling the ball at all.
