Top 25 Players Pt.V - Who's #1?

It's been a while but it's time for the 5th installment of the Nets Board's Top 25 Players Rankings!!

We have a lot of new blood on our forum so I'll quickly go over the rules:

Spoiler:
One of the reasons for doing this is to kill time during the dead of summer when there's nothing else to do and we're waiting for the next season. I will post a list of players and out of that list of players you vote for one. You also need to nominate a player not listed in the current voting pool but a player you'd like to see available to be voted for in the next round.

For instance, let's say it's the first round and the available candidates to vote for are LBJ, KD, Curry, Harden, and Westbrook. I decide to vote for LBJ this round but I believe CP3 is the next best player. Since CP3 is not available to be voted for, I nominate him to be included in the next round of available candidates. The nominee with the highest number of votes will be included as a candidate to vote for in round 2.

In the situation of a tiebreaker, a 24hr period will be given for people to change their votes. You can only change your vote to one of the players who shares the tiebreak.

If there's still a tie after 24hrs, I break the tie.

Simple, right?

In the past we've had non-Nets board members who regularly visit our forum participate. Unless you regularly participate on our boards (e.g. Nowitzki), here are the voting rules for non-Nets board posters.

Voting rules for non-Nets board posters:
Spoiler:
If you are not a regular on the Nets board or you don't post here often you need to vote for 3 rounds in a row in order for your votes to count.

I welcome outsiders to vote, but we don't want outsiders intentionally screwing up our rankings. No hard feelings but this is the most effective method I can use to make sure non-regular posters aren't sabotaging our system.

Here's the voting history of our Top 25 players threads since its inception:

Oh shoot...I can't even believe I forgot him. He really should be in this round.

Heck, I might edit it to include him.

Lebron (I love Curry way more but what Lebron did in the finals this year was amazing).

Nomination: hate to copy Prok, but it's Anthony Davis. Chris Paul would be my nomination if I didn't wanna copy.

Ok, edited the OP and included AD.

Prok's right. Don't worry about copying nominations. Most will have the same ones for the first few rounds.

Since LeBron is already available to be selected in the voting pool for the 2nd round, you don't need to nominate him.

The players that aren't going to win this round will be there to vote for in the 2nd round as well.

Think of a player who is not on the list already who you think should be there. (E.g. Kevin Love, LMA, etc.)

We have our first non-LBJ vote.

What do you guys think of AD being the best player in the game?

I dont think it's close. Davis is 25pts / 10 Reb / 3 Blk / 1.5 Stls. The scary part is that he is likely to get even better.

He's got the tools and potential to be great, but he's not there yet. Lebron has the experience and intangibles that put him over the top (and this is coming from someone who hates Lebron and his d-bag antics).
