3 straight tough games... brutal schedule. I fear it's going to kill our confidence.

He's 34 but with the mileage on those legs, might as well be closer to 40 IMO. He's done.

He can be a solid role player scorer/shooter type for a contender like VC in Memphis but other than that no.

I'm starting to see similarities between Rudy Gay and Joe. Gay became a net negative once the grizzlies established their Identity between Gasol/Randolph.

Now that our offense runs through Thaddeus/Brook. Joe suddenly looks a huge net negative as well. I don't think it's a coincidence.

Let's hope the Nets's Halloween costumes are the Golden State Warriors.

I just noticed how Brook is the only one with a black jersey on in the photos. I guess Dise is trying to show us that there is only one person on the team worth keeping.

Ehhhh we had a decent record with Joe/Thad/Brook last year and a solid showing in the playoffs playing against a more talented team. I think it's more age/mileage as Claud stated. Gay was in his prime with Memphis. Joe is 34

Joe's TS is 25%. He might as well sit this one out, if we're going to lose at least let Bojan get his minutes and shot attempts.

The schedule is currently indeed extremely tough and I'm asking myself whether this is favourable or not. I mean on the one hand, we wouldn't win against the top teams either way, so we are able to figure out some stuff regarding chemistry, proper rotations and so on until we face a stretch of winnable games. Like an extended preseason. But on the other hand, as you mentioned, it must be difficult for the players to deal with so many losses because the Nets could easily start the season with a record of 3-14. We all know how many would like to see the Nets struggle and because of the unprotected draft pick, there will be a LOT of negative press.

let markel brown play over ellington, at least markel makes things happen, ellington does nothing except hit an occasional 3.

play karasev too since they decided to keep him and he is younger . joe johnson should be third string and hollins needs to have courage to bench him. this season should be on letting young players play.

Markel will start over Ellington tonight.

glad to see hollins is going with what i wanted with markel, hopefully this wakes up joe if he keeps playing like garbage , he will be on the bench soon
