We've gotta win this one and keep climbing out of the hole. Should be another good competitive game, Brook needs to destroy Robin and Thad/RHJ vs. KP and Melo will be interesting to watch

If we can once again get some production from Ellington we'll have a good shot

I hope Larkin has a big game and we get the win. Just keep the knick fans quiet is all I ask. Hate that team and anyone that roots for them.

If Larkin can drain four 3s tonight that would be stellar... 4 and more is a bonus but gimme 4 3s buddy!!! revenge game!

Brook, please defeat them down low! for the luv of jeebus, the last two games, wins, weren't your best performance wise IMO but the numbers were there though.

Brooklyn! draw those damn fouls!!!! come on!!!!! attack the rim, especially you Brook!

as much as I hate to say it the Knicks are the better team this year and I'm not expecting a win tonight. I will be watching the game with a ton of friends though so I'm hoping for a Nets win but I'm thinking Melo lights it up tonight.

I hope Shane doesn't force things too much. He doesn't need to prove himself tonight. He needs to let his improvements do the talking.

I think we win easy.

RHJ should be able to guard Melo who is playing poorly this season.

We have better PGs. Jack/Larkin > Calderon/Grant

Brook owns Robin. Robin's defense is a big reason the Knicks play well. He is nullified when he plays his brother and doesnt score enough to worry about on offense.

Porzingas vs Thad is a huge mismatch in our favor. I dont see how Porzingas stays out of foul trouble guarding Thad.

Win easy? I don't think so. Offense is hard to come by for this squad. They've got more overall talent on their team. If it wasn't for Fisher, the Knicks would be over .500.

I really wanted the Raptors to beat the Nuggets last night so a win tonight would tie us in the standings with Denver and keep moving us away from the bottom of the barrel. Now we really need a win just to keep pace.

I'm hopeful and I can see them pulling it out but I'm thinking the Knicks win this one.

If Porzingis goes off and Brook doesn't, you can expect fans to (again) start pushing for Lopez to be dealt. A rookie coming in and taking the "best big man in NYC" tag already won't be a good look for Brook.

good point....

I do want Larkin to be aggressive out there and give a "got you back" game but there's still a border between that and reckless, I hope he goes out harder but still within his game...

Ohhh Boogie, Joe, Ellington, you're more than welcome to show up too... just saying...

He can eat a dick.

This is a pretty accurate assessment though, the Nets are an after thought in New York. We care about them but they killed any slim chances that they had in gaining some ground in the city with the Deron Williams era with uninspired basketball, several blowout losses on national television, and mismanagement from the top down. What i won't give into, until I see it, is this team being at the bottom of the league or gifting the Celtics Ben Simmons after what I've seen so far.

The funny part is, Nets are 5-13 but this group is more competitive than the other teams of the last 4 seasons despite the lack of talent, no one is dogging it out there or quitting which speaks volumes about how much of a piece of garbage Deron Williams is. If this team didn't blow the games that they had control of earlier on the record would be better and the doom and gloom talk wouldn't be as bad. Bondy tries to diss Lopez/Young yet they are both posting excellent numbers. Jack and Larkin have far exceeded expectations thus far. RHJ is a legit candidate for NBA All rookie 1st team and has been one of the league's best defenders so far in the season. The only issue with the Nets is the fact that Johnson/Bogdanovic/Ellington have been horrible. If Bogs played like he did at the end of last season this team would not be 5-13 and you'd have a legit argument for benching Joe Johnson. That's what's killing us right now, its those 3 guys. Ellington woke up in the last 2 games and lo and behold, the team wins 2 straight games. Not a coincidence.

He needs to play the same way that he's played as of late. Under control, move the ball, hit shots, and get to the rim for lay ups. I want more of the Lopez/Larkin give and go that we were KILLING the Cavs with.

This game is on national television. The Nets need to win here not just to keep getting out of the hole but to show folks that these guys aren't as bad as people believe them to be. These guys make me root for them win or lose because they actually give a ****.

thad has trouble with size and porzingis isnt fouling as much and using his length. thad may need to shoot jumpers if inside doesnt work. rhj needs to be on melo can melo will destroy joe johnson.

They dont score either. They are dead last in drives to the basket. That is our biggest weakness on defense.

Porzingas is in the top 10 in fouls. Thad is going to own him with his quickness and savy.

I like the matchups all around. We can hide Joe on Afflalo on defense. Brook has Robin's number. The Pace of the game will be to our liking. The only way I see us losing is if Melo gets RHJ in foul trouble and lives on the line.
