Doubt that. Either he finally realized we suck and we need to develop defensive minded talent by giving Brown and Reed more minutes or Billy King told him to start him.

it was me, ive been screaming at hollins on twitter to go with energy and defensive guys, unfortunately the talent level just sucks on this team and they need to trade as many guys as possible for value.

I understand this is a frustrating season but there is no excuse for a head coach to be that unprofessional.

I really want to watch games but I just can't. Not out of protest, not out of anger. This team is just unwatchable.

I watch other basketball games and find myself impressed when teams do something simple like pass the ball twice with out committing a turn over then knocking down an open shot. Not trying to be funny, I really feel that way, I hate this team.

they need to trade most of the team at trade deadline, waive, or just buy them out.

Did you hear about him not telling Markel he was starting and therefore giving no reason why the change was made?

I really don't understand why he needs to act like he's above reproach. You want this new crop of players to try their hardest for you? How about communicate something to them?

Pretty sure none of the players will miss him when he's fired lol.

Seriously. Watching guys cut to the basket, or big men posting up properly, or guys knocking down shots...its like night and day watching the Nets and other teams.

I find myself watching the Knicks more to watch Melo and KP. Now that's a watchable product. Even though their record doesn't blow you away the Knicks have guys at every position that can make plays, Melo is always an entertaining player and Porzingis is worth the price of admission, that kid is a flat out stud.

I can't even begin to think where I find excitement watching or even following the Nets anymore. Its always anger and frustration. After awhile, it becomes a turn off and there's no payoff for being a loyal fan.

See, this is what irks me. How do you not communicate and talk 1 on 1 with your players?

This is that old, grumpy man **** that I'm talking about. You've had a few guys get canned across the league (Brian Shaw, for instance...even though he's not exactly an old man) because they can't comprehend how to communicate with younger guys.

I'm sorry, but at age 60 whatever, you have had enough time on this earth to understand that proper communication is the key to EVERYTHING when dealing with people. Not being able to take Markel aside, tell him that he'll be starting and list expectations for him is a simple task but something beneath this dude. I'm so over it...I defended the guy for long enough, you can blame the players all you want because they suck but Hollins' hands aren't clean here either with some of the mess that has gone on.

The conspiracy theories about him mailing it in seem more rational by the day.

He did this to RHJ first and now Markel.

I don't care if they suck. Encourage them to get better. If you bench them, they'll at least understand that it wasn't for no reason.

This whole "Guess what things I want to see from you in order to play" is so absurd.

And then Hollins can't even accept the blame when he's looking off into space, not paying attention AT THE END OF A CLOSE GAME against the Heat.
