As horrible as things have become, is it bad that I didn't see this coming?

I just think its a sign that Prok is ready to listen to what the fans actually want. To actually focus on making something real here in Brooklyn. To me, this was the sign we needed

Holy **** finally!

Too bad things are way to screwed up for us, so this likely won't mean any immediate impact.

I'm seeing reports that King's duties were reassigned. Can anyone confirm the great news of his firing?

Hollins I could see getting fired. Although I would rather he just finished this season out since its not like we've got playoff caliber talent throughout the roster.

King on the other hand is a surprise. Obviously long overdue, but the way things had gone it felt as if he'd be here forever. IMO I could see a fire sale taking place soon. Hopefully we can get some assets.

I think because his contract is over at the end of the year... so they reassign him until the season ends and then just doesn't pick up his contract any further.

Best news I've heard in a while...surprised Prokhorov actually did it. Hopefully he hires the right guy, although I'm not sure who that'd be right now.

If Markel Brown's comments about how he found out he was starting yesterday were any indication, this was probably well in the works.

Hopefully this means a fire sale well before the deadline.

Lopez is a gonner. Cant wait til they trade him. All those promises King made to him are gone.
