anyone think he has a good chance to remain head coach after season? i know its early but just seeing if people like what they see so far in 2 games.

Well, for starters, I actually saw us do successful plays out of timeouts tonight. Hollins was completely awful at that at least. Wasn't watching the game too closely to notice any other difference but Thad Young basically just trashed Hollins indirectly post-game, while praising Brown.

The one thing I did notice last night was more off the ball movement

Remember him with the Mavs. Always looked like a laid back guy, not surprised about those words about him. Hollins at times felt like he didn't care at the end of games with some decisions he made and how passive he was at times. I guess at least the new guy will be fired up because it's a great opportunity to enhance his CV, while Hollins knew he had no hope really. In a way, he felt like Karl with the Kings, coaches that seem to just going through the motions collecting their paychecks.

I think it's way too early to read into things but Tony Brown's personality alone is a breath of fresh air.

With Westphal deciding to leave, we really have a shortened staff. Even if they know he's not going to be hired full time, I'd give him an interview if he wants it just for being a good sport and taking one for the team.

If he ends up being good enough, I'd at least hope the Nets and the Nets coach consider him for being one of the assistant coaches. It's already really apparent that Brown is not like Hollins so unless he unexpectedly goes turncoat, I say we should keep him as an assistant.

Yeah I see his long term value to us is as an assistant. It would make sense to keep him on as a way to keep things familiar in a way for the players and I truly think he has earned it
