Our bench is utterly atrocious. I can't believe Billy King gave these guys player options.

I've been harping over and over about where Brook needs to get his touches. A few possessions ago Lopez gets the ball by the foul line elbow, faces up, puts the ball on the floor and attacks the defense, spin move, sweet floater that drops.

Lopez needs to be FACING the basket, squared up. He can either attack, or if the defense wants to double he can hit the open man easier.

If I see this guy being posted up for a majority of his touches next season I'll be livid. I can't be the only one who notices how sick Brook is when he drives to the paint as opposed to slow, lumbering post ups. I wish I could get some data on how efficient he is when he faces up and attacks vs. post ups. He looks so much more fluid and in control when he attacks like a perimeter player as opposed to posting up.

Blame ownership. Prokhorov's absentee ownership is to blame. I could not fathom spending millions to field a roster like this.

Regarding the options, I don't mind keeping Larkin and Ellington next season since we're going to bring in more talent (we hope). They can prove to be useful. Bargnani needs to go to the Euroleague.

Lopez took Drummond behind the woodshed in the first half. He is playing great.

The key to getting Lopez in that position is perimeter shooting. Ellington and Sloan hitting a few threes to start the game was huge. The Pistons are reluctant to shift their defense to clog up the paint and prevent Brook from attacking the paint. That's why we need to throw all of our money at shooters and slashers.

Exactly. You add shooting and slashing that opens things up for Lopez to exploit the defense. This is the kind of tape that the next GM/Coach tandem should be looking at if they want to maximize Lopez's value. Posting him up is worthless. Giving him space to either attack the paint or get fouled could be the difference between wins and losses. That goes back to my point about the lack of perimeter talent being the reason why this team blows ass.

Tony Brown...come on. Larkin is sitting with 6/6/14 but Sloan is still out there.
