Okay, imo for the next two and a half months, the focus should be youth development.

Rondae Hollis Jefferson

Chris "C-Mac" McCullough

Markel Brown

Willie Reed

Thomas Robinson

Sergey Karasev

I need to see a focus on giving these guys PT.

It wouldn't hurt to showcase Thad and Lopez for any summer potential deals, but I agree it's all about the youth for the rest of the year. When we finally get our GM, I think it's about understanding exactly what we have on the floor and how our core fits together.

Looking forward to the offseason, I wonder if Marks is looking to buy or trade our way into the draft. It's a pretty weak draft but a pick couldn't hurt.

I have a feeling that Marks is going to have the team focus on player development and talent evaluation. He needs to decide where he stands on a lot of the players over a larger sample size, plus he needs to see how he can enact his vision. So I'd imagine we see a lot more minutes for the younger guys (why I imagine we want to waive Bargs, leaves more minutes for CmC)

You'd only think about waiving Bargs if you are thinking about adding a 10 day contract or other FA. If you want CMac to get more minutes, you just tell the coach to do so, he has no reason to do otherwise.

Which is possible... I say cut him anyway and if someone gets waived from their team and we want to give him an audition, we can do it easily. Otherwise we can start giving Reed, Cmac, and Trob more time.

Either way, we don't need Bargs here anymore. The season is a total loss and at this point, there's no point in giving Bargs more play time.

I'm really curious what his core philosophies are in building a team.

The guy I'm really going to be looking at here especially is Brown. I think he needs a good 30 mins at bare minimum a night. Let him play, see what we have with this guy. he was really showing some signs of life before the break, especially with that jumper. Really confident play, the first time I've seen him play with some confidence and swagger. He looked like he belonged out there.

I'm sure Marks will wanna evaluate Bojan but I've seen enough. Cut bait or keep him as a sub but he's not a guy who is reliable.

If Brown keeps hitting his jumper i'd love to see a Lopez/Thad/RHJ/Brown combo.

Feels like a whole new season with no expectations. 14-40 is a pretty lowly record though, crazy to think buying out Deron hurt us this bad. Good thing is I don't think anyone is beating the Warriors this year so its a good time to retool.

I won't be able to watch it live but I hope it's recorded for later playback. I want to know the same info as well.

I think we're 1.5 games behind Minnesota. If we catch them, expect more Boston fans to be enraged.

Road to 30 wins lol I just want to end up with at least the 8th worst record. We can catch up to the wolves for the 5th worst but the nets would have to go on a good winning streak to catch up to the others. I see teams like the Pelicans tanking or the Kings because their pick is top 10 protected . If wizards and Pistons continue to lose I can see them tanking as well for their protected picks. Knicks are not tanking and I don't see the nuggets tanking either even though they won't make playoffs or the Bucks ...

Is it really tanking to buy out Joe? We need to play the young players and having Joe isn't the difference between wins and losses this season.

Good luck to Joe.
