Nothing really holding him back from mixing on and off the ball. We just happen to only have 2 ball handlers. The beginning of the year he struggled regardless of position.

i think you misunderstood. i think he can 100% play off ball. i just dont think he can reach his peak without higher usage.

Sorry I was talking more in general. Not completely directed at you. I think he can flourish in both roles. He just happens to look like the best PNR player on the team right now. It'll be interesting to see how he looks splitting PNRs with Russell. They both attack it so differently.

yeah i think he is our best PnR guy as well... he is the biggest threat to turn the corner and get to the rim on it, which makes life easier on our big.

That's basically the difference. Caris attacks the paint more which opens up passes to bigs as the help defense challenges him.

Dlo is probably more methodical and probing, but looks more to score outside (or midrange) instead of attacking.

Din is looking more for the pass or kick out (upon help coming) instead of aggressively attacking (much less finishing)

From Zach Lowe's article today -

LeVert's per-36-minutes numbers since Nov. 22: 17.5 points on 47 percent shooting, including 43 percent from deep, and a very impressive 6.5 dimes. The results are finally catching up to the process.

In preparation for Russell's return, it looks like Kenny is playing him next to Dinwiddie more off the ball. He kinda lost his rhythm since returning from the injury but I expect him to be back blessing us soon.

being able to have a combination of LeVert/Dinwiddie/Russell on the floor at all times is going to be huge for us.

If you can lock Dinwiddie up at <= $13mil/year, I think you roll with a trio like that getting 85-90 of the 96 Guard minutes. If, Dinwiddie is looking at Hill/Teague money, then I'd trade him ASAP.

Did not like the last few games Levert being wasted by not playing with the fro in the 2nd quarter.

I understand Kenny is forcing Okafor in the rotation but please keep LeFro duo playing together at all times.

Last year I posted that LeVert may have more potential to become a star than DLo, and got flamed by people saying he’s a second round pick for a reason.

They may both become stars. It’s not mutually exclusive.

Levert wasnt a second round pick... anyone who said that doesnt know what they are talking about.

I dont think levert will ever be an allstar, but he has perrenial 6th man of the year candidate written all over him.

It’s probably good that I’m not Sam Presti because i would give a stupid amount of picks for this guy.

Surprised by it, but who cares at this point. Let him get some rest. It's not like it's an all star game. No one really cares or remember about rook/soph game.

he should use it as motivation. being named an all star a few years from now will be much more rewarding.
