The point is that it would allow us to put our 4 best players on the court at the same time (Lin/Russell/Crabbe/LeVert/5) and have LeVert match up against the opposing team's SF at the 4 in a small ball line up.

Oh ok I see what you're saying now. I thought you meant give levert big minutes at PF against certain teams. I'm not too sure how we'll close to be honest.

Lin/Dlo/Crabbe/LeVert/Rondae

Full utilization of Rondae's passing court vision.

Yes exactly not as a every game thing more so to finish games against the right kind of opponent so that we could play our best players at the end. Like last season when Boston would play Brown/Crowder at the 4 or the Mavericks with Barnes. I also think LeVert would give some of the smaller/ less skilled PFs a really hard time like Al Faruq Aminu, Ersan Illyasova or Marvin Williams.

TheBrooklynKidd wrote:How often do you guys think we'll see LeVert at the 4? Ideally he would be at the 2/3 but if our opponent goes small at the end of a game with their 3 moving down to the 4, I could see us potentially putting a lineup of our best players out there:
1. Lin
2. Russell
3. Crabbe
4. LeVert
5. Mozgov/Allen

For short stints, totally possible, especially if the opposing team doles out a small lineup or a pure stretch four.

I doubt Moz would be part of this unless he can shoot the three very well.

It'd take Allen a while to become this good.

RHJ would make more sense, he can be switched to any other offensive player.

What's more impressive, the dunks or the fact that a solid chunk of those clips involve him making a great defensive play leading to the transition scores?

This kid is going to be a beast in 2 more seasons.

Still see a lot of Paul George to his game, even some Eddie Jones.

I think he's a better ball handler than Jones was but not an unfair statement at all. High defensive IQ, active in the passing lanes and aggressive on the ball.

I just love how LeVert's drives are more of the straight line variety - unlike say Terrance Williams or Antoine Wright who had this mind-boggling dumb habit of curling into the lane and tossing up soft shots.

75 isn't that bad for a guy who missed half the season. he also got stiffed on the all rookie team. he'll be an 80+ next season with ease.

not enough offense for that to work.

His quickness, height, composure and sense of timing makes him a very tough cover.

I know the narrative by the front office and media has been and will be that D-Lo is our franchise prospect, but I still think LeVert will be our best player in the long run.

I don't know. LeVert still has alot of potential in front of him, but DLo has a higher ceiling and is 2 years younger. By the time DLo is LeVerts current age, there's a very good chance he could be a 20 ppg player.

I think LeVert will be a good player who flies under the radar a little bit. DLo will be the most marketed player and the face of the team (because He's so polarizing, it would be dumb to not capitalize on his celebrity status) but LeVert will be the backbone.
