So game is at the Garden? Is this home court for Jeremy/Nets? Hope Jeremy goes off again and make Melo/Dolan and co eat crow and help Nets establish dominance in NY.

We need to beat them, I hate that prick Courtney Lee.

Why do you hate him? He was part of an historic Nets team.

Lee got paid after being a bouncing about journeyman (just like Lin) after having a solid stretch with CHA.

He fits very well with what the NYK are likely to try to do. Have it be the Melo-Rose show with some support from Porzingas. Lee and Noah just wait around for scraps on offense while doing most of the heavy lifting on D.

Personally i dont like having players get pigeonholed like that, but we'll see how it goes. Nets system is way more modern and better for team chemistry/morale imho.

Looks like Whitehead is looking to ball out in the Garden.

I know Nets fans want to buy into our fake rivalry with the crosstown team, settle down it's only a preseason game, nothing to fuss is about.

Clippers and Golden State have beef - they're both playoff teams in the same conference, they've both had physical altercations on the court. The Nets and Knicks were lottery teams last season- the beef between them hasn't been real since KG went to Minnesota. We haven't even faced them in the playoffs for over a decade.



I understand a rivalry with the Craptors or even the Celtics. But the Nix? we're both irrelevant this season

Far more excited to see Isaiah Whitehead rekindle his MSG magic.

I agree. Apparently Knicks have been practicing defense hard all week. I don't even ask for a win, the talent and experience gap is too great, IMHO, at this point in season. I just want them to hang in there and stick with their game plan on both offense and defense. And maybe see the young players like CMac and Bennett take some steps forward -- a little aggression would be great too.

"Believe it or not" was a small jab. I think Melo is just a little annoyed that Lin is back in NY because he knows the drama that Linsanity brought with his relationship with D'antoni, Jeremy, media perception, etc. I recall he said Lin's poison pill deal with Houston was "ridiculous". Then, he said he meant it in a endearing way. If he doesn't want any unwanted media attention then he should STFU.

No. I can't let that go. doesn't matter if its October or December. **** that dude. We traded two players I liked in exchange for his crybaby, non lay up making ass. I despise him, and we should have kept Ryan Anderson at bare minimum. I hope if he drives to the lane trevor booker knocks him on his ass.

And I like Carmelo but by saying what he said, he clearly wants to beef with the Nets. that's fine. he's talking **** like Lin got maxed out or something, his comments are passive aggressive **** talking. we need to **** them up i don't care if its preseason

we aren't in a position to say "its preseason". we need to treat all games like the real thing.
