this is abig one for me. i effing hate the knicks. id take a win here and 3 losses to follow over a loss and 3 wins.

Brook is currently the best rim protector in the league according to John Schumann.

Opponents have shot 27.3 percent at the rim when Lopez has been there to protect it.

That's the lowest mark against 59 players who have defended at least five shots at the rim per game this season.

Yeah, I always consider Brook to be at least B grade defender, I'm not sure why people consider him a non-factor or mediocre defensively. Also, I think Brook rebounding has taken a dip obviously because he's floating out to the perimeter and not in position to get offensive board. Still, however, I think Brook shooting 3's is a good thing as long as it is falling at the clip it is currently or close to it.

I think it is very optimistic to think that we can win against the Knicks tonight being on the tail end of a back to back and the Knicks being substantially better than the Timberwolves. If the Knicks stay away from hero ball, it would be very difficult for us to beat them. I think the key to the game is if the Nets will be able to contain them while also exploiting their weak defense, Brook needs a good game against Noah.

I would bet money he plays tonight there is your answer

Brook should play tonight because Nets have 3 days off, next game Saturday. I'm ecstatic for this one, haven't been able to watch most Nets games this year yet. Screw ESPN I much rather listen to our guys. This is a easy W.
